Prince Hall Masons may not become 32nd degree...To join a regular blue lodge, makes you an "ANCIENT Free and Accepted Mason". If you are A.F. & A.M., then once you progress through your degrees you again have the OPTION to join Scottish Rite, which is the road you travel to become 32nd degree.

Incorrect. There is a Prince Hall Scottish Rite in every state as well as the other appendant bodies. The designation of F&AM is not restricted to Prince Hall Masonry. Almost half of the US mainstream grand lodges are designated F&AM.

Prince Hall lodges were formed in the days of segregation, and even though they exist today and have a large member base, if you are black it is strictly YOUR choice.

I wish it were true. Although most of the mainstream grand lodges in the US have removed the racial language in their constitutions barring someone of color from petitioning, racial discrimination is still rampant in many mainstream lodges. I know for a fact of an African-American having his petition for membership black-balled even though his investigative report came back as favorable.
