So if you an old soul and you rise to a higher plane, will you be a young soul again?

I just read on this site that old souls are on the verge of rising to another plane. Does that mean that when you ascend to a higher plane that you are a young soul again?

I have this nagging feeling that this spiral of duality never really ends.. that even if someone does attain "enlightenment" they'll just go on to forget everything only to redream the same messed up dream over and over and over, forever, and ever, and ever.

From duality, to non-duality, back to duality, in a never ending cycle.

LOL Cute

Your soul has nothing to do with your physicality. Young and old is just a term for how long your soul has existed. So, no, if you are old soul, you will always be one.

Though... you may reincarnate into young bodies again and again. If you so choose.

I don't believe so.

You are on a journey back to the Source and the next level brings you one step closer.

i don't know how reincarnation works, but i would venture to guess that a young or old soul is based on what you have learned and how much you have matured moreso than relating to chronological age.

I don't understand such questioning when it is apparent that ALL things in this universe, age in a chronological order.

Explain when this is not the case, and then perhaps we can have a fine and meaningful argument over the matter.

Sorry, the choice isn't always left up to the soul, but you can try all you want.

If you so choose.

Re: So if you an old soul and you rise to a higher plane, will you be a young soul again?
Why am I harsh? Because I used the word argument, perhaps?

Every soul in this entire space is "sparked" or borne of "the higher being" or "god."

All these things I mentioned were also born and will come a time of death or dying as in all things. Yes, even "our god!" gasp!

All in between is the numbering you call age, as certainly as their is a sun, their are young souls and old souls.

Eventually when a soul reaches such an ethical states, as in "above reproach" or "without sinful action" may at that time choose whether to take on a new body or to go on and become a god themselves over their "own universes." Or even choose to go back and be one with the "creator/god" once again.
