Why would God break his own rules/laws of the universe/nature? Sharon is not that big of a deal!
Consider this. He will be about 85 years old at the next election, assuming his body survive the ravages of time.
What's the oldest someone can live?
What's the oldest a comatose person's body can be viable before succumbing to diseases?
