He also went on about the benefits of invisibility and not falling for the trap of celebrity. Yet he didnt manage that himself, although to be fair his work is all about getting your face and ideas out there.

It seems that when you put yourself "out there", it kind of snowballs - attracting all sorts of people, some wonderful and others just plain predatory. And if you want to make a living out of it you need other people to help you push your barrow.

Therefore he would have been prey to the "well if you are as evolved/wise/clever/enlightened etc as you claim to be then you must have had this experience/dream/vision/healing ......." and you would be stuck in one endless brain fuck.

It would be very difficult to keep your centre in those circumstances.
