Who is Richard Tyler in NY music industry? Film score? No way friends. I know of people in Los Angeles, in their early 20's that work their asses off on youtube with 15 million hits type thing.. and are in competition for the session, live and compositional work.. they still need help from families to live. If you live in LA or NYC nobody would align themselves with anything remotely antisemetic (just a fact of life, I'm sorry or not). I know mid-tier touring well known indie artists who are on the larger US indies (need support to tour it's a political game for most still) who still find it difficult to pay the rent and have to work elsewhere when not busy - they have millions & millions of hits on youtube if u tally up the name searches with tracks/live fan videos etc . Fact of life in the arts, in any arts really.

As everyone says, with music industry "there's no middle class at all". Most people have no money really & work their art hard or they can afford a jacket worth a few thousand dollars and bling life type thing. Stuff like DJing is a little dffrnt. Media & so on is irrelevant obviously here. People get paid haha and I don't like media too much ahaha
