A reasonable post with a different perspective goes all shit hits the fan vibe (negative and mean spirited). Dude what about no Judgement and Godspeed my friend. See how messed you are and its no ones fault. Admit to that self importance you know well and good, man.

Stuart didn't want followers, people chose to go beg borrow and steal to see him - his mantra was "come if you can", not "come if you feel important and have a mission".

I feel one wish he had (can't quite confirm this now) was that people accept personal responsibility and be free was the second wish.

Because Stuart was a compassionate man (does anyone know what that means anymore?). Its loving understanding. He felt an incredible pain and sadness (he called it Pathos).

He delivered hard truths as his method (didn't mean he hated or judged you, it meant he cared). Some integrated and learned, loved him more for this care of "seeing them".

And some were terribly angry and thought they were Hindu Gods and Goddesses. It messed them up. But they messed themselves up - that was the chicken on the string method. At the end of the lesson we all collectively sorted ourselves (essentially separated into sides). The self important types got pissed off and angry. And then some felt ever so more aware of their shadows and felt it was an incredible experience to learn like that.

Its very tricky the concept of Guru. I bet most "guru" would not like to pass with that title. Mr. W was a teacher, revered and loved - the ones who hated him he loved anyway. He didn't want "Guru" status I feel and he often would write how "bloody stupid" he felt about a certain understanding he once believed and then learned differently later on. He was totally cool and down to earth. I am convinced now, anyone who has a bad thing to say was messed up by their own self rejection, hatred, loathing. Stuart was awesome, and I will often remember his favorite painting of a Goat. For me it meant scapegoat.

I'll remember him as a tender human and he showed me things no one knows - and I rarely tell anyone what I know, but respect their process and infringe very little. Anyone like Final Analysis who posts here is a man/boy with unresolved hurt feelings. But they also didn't hang around long enough to see they were still loved. It was part of the training. Make a fool of yourself, blame everyone else (no personal acceptance), take no responsibility - blame the Guru you made guru, bugger off scared and make cruel defamatory remarks about the person they once loved.

Seems a bit sick and worthy of the Pathos Stuart mentioned.
