the term itself and most of the literature about it has a strong spiritual tone to it that can be taken or left, but I do believe there are a certain set of personality traits that easily define the indigo

have a discussion with a real hippie and show these traits, they'll call you out on being an indigo the first time you meet them.

OP you should add a poll to view the extent of the results! so far we have quite a few INFJ and a few others who fit into a "1% category." i think it would be interesting to see what kind of personalities fit with GLP. perhaps we are a breed of our own! would explain if there were a large % of 2 different subsets. there is balance in everything

Is there anything wrong with wanting people to excel? I do not feel that it is all about themselves (INFJ) How can it be about that when all we want is things to be better. Is that such a bad vision to have? I'm proud of the way I view the world. Do you honestly think everything is happy and wonderful right now. Imagine what it would be like if people helped others. That is all I was saying. But unfourtunately so much of the world have that cynical view of the world thinking ultimatly everyone is out only for themselves in some selfish god-like complex. Not everyone thinks that way either. Just take it at face value and embrace kindness. Not everybody has a selfish motive.

I am an INFJ as well. I am always astounded when I meet another INFJ because I feel this automatic connection. Those close to me who are not INFJs always think I am nuts because I am always talking about how we can better the world. Does anyone find themselves to be moody oftentimes? I can go from being on cloud nine to being let down pretty quickly...and no, it's not bi-polar disorder haha. It would be interesting to learn however, which personality types are suseptible to different kinds of mental disorders. :)

I find this fascinating. On every single forum I've been to, many, where this topic comes up, the vast majority of the posters state they are INFJ. This has happened over the years too many times and too many people, I've come to believe that the INFJ personality is not rare at all.
