Well that is pretty much a load of shit... Give their position away? This story has so many holes in it I can only see two things behind it.

a. Propaganda

b. Marine sympathizer


If they were worried about giving away their position, they would not be laughing and joking around and taking their eyes off the enemy by focusing on the camera. There are dogs all over Iraq as well and just because they bark etc. does not mean anyone is there.
