Unemployment rate declines, but that's because there are fewer people in the workforce In the meantime, the illegals are taking up the slack in the minimum wage jobs that 'Americans don't want' as quoted by G.W. Bush. Look around you. When the government says employment is growing, but that they're 'worried', they're lying. Nothing new there. If the government was so concerned about jobs, they would shred NAFTA and GATT and start the manufacturing sector up in this country big time. We can only do 'service industry' for so long - a country must export its goods for its economy to grow. It is now normal for both adults in any one household to be holding down two jobs. Most of those jobs are in the service industry such as fast food, Wal-Mart, etc. Boeing just lost a huge tanker contract to Airbus putting out at the minimum 7,000 people out of potential work. These are highly trained and skilled individuals. What's going to happen to them? Oh, the senators are mad-as-hell now. At this rate, Americans are truly destined to become the next boat people; rowing themselves overseas to find a job. Not good. Rising energy prices is making the situation intolerable. Someone seems determined to remake the US into a third world country. The answer is WHY? |

And I said, "What is this, the burning bush? For God's sake, I'm not Moses." And the Voice said to me: "And I'm not God. What has that got to do with it?" |
