You might consider that there is a separation between true Christianity and those who have used the disguise of Christianity to seize control and power over peoples and nations and blacken the name of Christianity in history.

Just because a church calls itself Christian, does not mean it truly is.

Jesus said to judge a tree by its fruit. If a church claims to be Christian, but it acts in ways that are clearly opposite to the Word of God and teachings of Jesus, then that church is not Christian.

A large part of the Devil's plan for deception is to vilify Christianity by using agents of evil, to do evil in the name of Christianity.

Unfortunately, too many people are very simple-minded and easily fooled; thus, they cannot see the deception for what it is.

Just because many throughout the history of the Catholic church have declared themselves to be Christian, does not mean they are.
