Re: Whatever Happened To Iron Butterfly bassist, Philip "Taylor" Kramer's Idea?
Maybe I could write Mr. Kramer a letter if he is still affiliated with Ohio State University in Youngstown. Unfortunately, I have a very intensive six week work assignment ahead of me and probably won't see the light of day (literally) until completing it. Taylor's family has been through so much. On your side note, Annonymous Coward, (I hate referring to you as such), why is this the first time that we are hearing about Taylor's secretary? I am astounded at how much information you (Annonymous Coward) have been able to retrieve. How is it that you have access to this information? Regarding the radio interview with Mr. Kramer, is there a source that I could go to? What would I do with such information? At this point, I'm really not sure. No matter what comes of it, we can't bring Taylor back. I wish we could. I guess you really have to have compassion. We have all been witness to cases that have been solved far-too-long after one would expect acceptable. WHY ARE WE CHALLENGED WITH PROVIDING ANY CONCRETE EVIDENCE???

I do indeed have access to information about what really happened to Taylor Kramer, I know who killed him, it is the same criminal who also killed TMMI's secretary. I will get her name and post it so her death can be verified.

Kramer's OJ reference was to those who kidnapped him, probably were with him when he made the telephone calls.

It is well know who exactly believed OJ was innocent.

The police didn't do their job on the Kramer case, they failed miserably!

Kramer's idea still lives in the form of "TruDef" which will become the new standard for high definition video compression.

This technology was 15 years ahead of its time, only now is hardware fast enough to handle the billions of calculations required to make it work.

Everything Kramer said about fractal compression is true!

TruDef.
An advanced version based on Taylor's original idea.
TruDef.
Birthed from Taylor Kramer's ideas and/or research.
Who took Taylor's idea and expounded on it?
Who created TruDef?
Did they give credit to him?

"Everything he said about fractal compression ..."
Who did he say it to?
To his colleagues and partners?
Who did he confide in?

Who picked up the ball to create TruDef?
Those who loved him and believed in his legacy?
Did Taylor receive any acknowledgement?

It's difficult, isn't it? To fathom Taylor's murder.
It's hard to fathom anyone taking another's life.
And yet it happens everyday right in front of our eyes.
But, why did it have to him?
This sounds so harsh, but here it is.
IF ANYONE EVER DESERVE TO DIE,
IT CERTAINLY WAS NOT HIM.

Why?
I guess I could answer my own question.
Because people have done far worse things for less money.

Tom Simpson, his friend, summarized Taylor's story so well:
"I think someone has gotten away with the perfect crime."
I hope he's wrong.

TruDef was created from a partnership between Iterated Systems Inc. and Total Multimedia Inc. Michael Barnsley's original fractal compression patents that worked for still images and Taylor Kramer's mathematics enabling faster search process for full motion video. Without Kramer's work fractal video compression is basically useless. Total Multimedia Inc. is carrying on with Kramer's work with full credit to him. Numerous individuals dedicated to Kramer's legacy will make sure TruDef succeeds. There is no shortage of dark forces out there trying to put TMMI out of business, steal its technology and even dispute that fractal compression even works! Yes indeed, there are some really sick twisted freaks out there!

Perhaps the FBI will one day reopen Kramer's case, the killer and accomplises still roam the streets!

Re: Whatever Happened To Iron Butterfly bassist, Philip "Taylor" Kramer's Idea?
This is what we need.

We need a bounty hunter investigator who will drag the killer(s) to justice. I kid you not.

13 years is a long time ... Even I initially thought suicide. I don't know this guy, right? Why should I care? Cops love an open and shut case. Keeping it neat. And the system is notorious for shuffling people. You half wonder whether someone is lining someone's back pocket.

My cop-friend told me, "Oh, yea, the guy committed suicide.". Tells me that he's had to tell many mothers, wives and friends (who refused to believe) that their loved one hung himself in prison or jumped off the Miami River bridge or shot himself dead. I think his perspective is thwarted because he has a preconceived notion of, "this is how it is". But, I long-ago reassessed my original notions that Taylor killed himself. He did not. I know this in my gut. If he wanted to kill himself, I don't think he'd drive himself off a cliff. Driving off a cliff. What? 'Cause he fell asleep at the wheel? Sounds more like an accident than a suicide. Or, something else, like murder. What would be the motive? Who stood to gain from his death?

His family and friends shouldn't have given up their search so soon. If you loved the man, you would never give up, right? My leg tingles when I say this. Little psychic awareness? Maybe. And, I sense the truth is closer than we know. So close, it's right under our noses. That's why we need a blood hound for this case.

You said before, you know who the killers are. If we know who the killers are, and they know that we know who they are, wouldn't they be a little threatened in the least bit?
Or are we just egging them on?

My cop-friend says that most criminals think they're really smart and everyone else is either gullible or downright stupid. But, generally-speaking, in most instances, they give themselves away in some conspicuous or inconspicuous way. These are the magic words: They give themselves away ...

He says killers are often the people who stand in the crowd when the crime is being investigated. They're right there, right under our noses! We can smell the blood on their hands.

They're very good at manipulating us into believing their lies. And when apprehended, we look at them pathetically. But, they're not sorry. Not sorry that they committed the crime; only sorry that they got caught. And they'd do it again if they could.

My gut feeling is this ... The truth is very close to the surface. When this case cracks wide open, (and it will) it'll be justice simply for justice's sake. Are we ever gratified when we punish offenders? How pathetic that our society is still cursed with such individuals and that such harsh choices must be made. Someone made extensive reference to O.J much earlier. Hell, I don't even think there's a death-penalty in California! Bring 'em to Ohio ... I can't even believe I said that ... Because I'm very much a liberal.

Taylor was probably this loving-kind-of-guy who probably didn't even support the death penalty or war. Am I right? Well then ... what the heck was he doing working on the MX Missile Project? Mistake #1.

Are we less than human for putting criminals who kill to death? Will doing so bring Taylor Kramer back to life?
I think that punishing those guilty would be respecting Taylor's life. Ultimately, it would give us a truer, justifiable sense of closure.

Bottom line, Taylor made his incredible mark in our world and no one can ever take that away.

Decker Canyon was searched after Kramer disappeared which came up empty. Nobody knows exactly how long it was before the van was pushed over with Kramer (most likely already dead) in it. The Shaman messed up by not attaching Kramer's original license plates which is why he threw them down after the van was pushed over. Kramer was most likely kidnapped for some length of time, probably to get information out of him? Where is Peter Olson these days? I bet he knows the sordid details if you know what I mean!

How the police failed to link Kramer's disappearance and the death of TMMI's secretary is beyond me.

Whoever is guilty
will not escape
Whether it's here on earth
or in the afterlife

Here are some thoughts:

1. How do you know that Olson and his Shaman are responsible for Taylor Kramer's death? Clue me in, please.

2. The Shaman (sorry ... his name is unknown to me), I take it he is not a U.S. citizen. Which probably means he would be immune to any prosecution here in the states.

3. Olson was in his 50's back when he worked with Taylor. He believed he was the son of an alien. Where is he now?

4. I never knew Taylor. Nevertheless, his story is a haunting. Without concrete evidence of foul play, the police probably will not re-open his case.

5. Taylor's secretary's death. Did someone just make this up? What is her name?

6. Wonder if Olson and his shaman read this site?

"Despite the fact that it seemed that he had the world at his feet, he was as fragile as any other given his circumstances." (me)

There is a group of evil men that supress any technology that would free men from slavery here on Earth.

These men work for off world powers. They systematically destroy any advanced technology, in the field of physic's or biology.

They want the People of the Earth to destroy themselves.

Clue me in on the evil men. Who exactly are they?
How would anyone be free? Free from what?

I believe time travel is the answer quite frankly.
It's the only way to go back and change mistakes.
Possibly save people just like Taylor.
Some prominent physicists believe that it does exist.

time-travel.
faster-than-the-speed-of-light communications.

You know what's really ironic? The theories Taylor was perhaps working towards proving in our world are probably so insignificant and irrelevant when compared to the spirit world. How fast can a spirit manifest itself from one place to another? Taylor was known to say, "See you on the other side". I wonder if he is literally living his dream (that is, if he truly is in the spirit world and not living another life somewhere with a different identity).

I think I have a photo of Olson and his Shaman. Except the shaman is wearing sunglasses, so you really can't see his face.

Some prominent physicists believe that monopole gravity waves propagate any distance in Plank time (5.4x10-44 s).

Perhaps Kramer discovered a mathematical model for detecting gravity waves and even using them for communication which in Plank time would be something like a billion times faster than the speed of light. People may think this is crazy nonsense but read through the research found on Google so far.

[link to www.google.com]

A few hundred years ago it would have sounded crazy to suggest that some animals use infrasound to communicate which is proven today. Gravity waves may very well be proven a reality in the not too distant future.

Gravity is close to 10^40 times weaker than electromagnetic attraction.

Kramer's ideas just might be proven in 2015

The Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) will be the first dedicated space-based gravitational wave observatory:

Re: Whatever Happened To Iron Butterfly bassist, Philip "Taylor" Kramer's Idea?
There are a few interesting sites that discuss such things,
"monopole gravity waves, 5.4x10-44 seconds".

"For many years physicist Gregory Hodowanec in Newark, NJ has been detecting what he refers to as monopole gravity waves. These monopole signals, unlike the usually detected gravity waves, are relatively strong and more easily detected. Hodowanec says, 'that monopole gravity waves have been detected for many years; it's what we are calling 1/f 'noise' signals, flicker or background noise...'"

"In Hodowanec's cosmology, the universe is considered to be a finite, spherical, closed system. Monopole gravity waves propagate any distance in Plank time, which is about 5.4x10-44 seconds, therefore their effects appear everywhere almost instantly. These gravity wave signals are the sum total of the background flux of the universe, similar to the total summation of the earth's lightning signals I observed in New Mexico. Such signals could be a new window into the universe. They may reveal many aspects not observable with present-day electromagnetic techniques."
( [link to blog.myspace.com]

Taylor Kramer attempted open communication (channeling) with extraterrestrial beings, as did another electrical engineer, Gregory Hodowanec.
( [link to www.bibliotecapleyades.net]

As inconceivable as it may seem, have you ever considered what the residual affects of communicating with extraterrestrial beings would be? Can our brains tolerate this type of overload/stress? Could there be residual biochemical or even, organic changes in our brain structure given such stress. Who knows? Might this explain the extreme mental stress that Taylor endured close to his death? Perhaps.

Some definately scoff the minute you mention the word "alien". But, Peter Olson proclaimed himself part alien. Might someone have ventured to silence Taylor's knowledge? What would be the motives of alien beings on our planet? If indeed, alien beings do exist, coexisting with us and communicating with us from the outer reaches of planet earth, what would be their goal? We might ask will they coexist with us peacefully without manipulating, altering or ruling over us. But we already know how violent humans are. So, this questions almost seems mute.

Kramer's idea to improve fractal compression was 18 years ahead of its time.

His code is finally running on fast computer hardware. It used to take 30 minutes to fractally encode a single frame, now just 0.23 seconds, with a much larger resolution frame as well!

[link to www.tmmi.us]

Total time to compress 552 1280x960 frame sequence: 127635 ms (4.324833 fps)

Note: Encoding time includes hard drive I/O bottleneck.

Test System

OS Name Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Home Premium
Version 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1 Build 6001
System Model P5K Deluxe
System Type x64-based PC
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz, 2394 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. 0404, 6/15/2007
SMBIOS Version 2.4
Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "6.0.6001.18000"
Installed Physical Memory (1066mhz RAM) 4.00 GB
Available Physical Memory 2.40 GB
Total Virtual Memory 8.21 GB
Available Virtual Memory 5.90 GB
Hard Drive Seagate 1TB 7,200 RPM 32MB Cache

I predict Kramer's code will end up every HD TV sold in the future, TruDef will become the dominant HD codec, this was Kramer's dream and its coming true!

"Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) is a common drug that Shamans use to reconnect to the spirit world"
The Ether Part 5* Reconnecting With The Spirit World
(Reference: [link to www.youtube.com]

Consider this: Is it possible that PTK was poisoned, drugged or even agreed to take a substance under the influence of "a shaman"?

Read about DMT:

"When smoked or injected the physical and mental effects of DMT are similar to LSD, but more intense. The effects are very strong and they hit fast. They can be overwhelming, it is not uncommon for someone smoking DMT to feel the full force of the drug in the middle of a toke (causing them to drop the pipe the DMT is being smoked out of). Peak effects last only 10-20 minutes."

"When ingested orally with an MAOI, DMT is not as potent as when it is smoked or injected. However, when compared to other drugs, even orally ingested DMT is very strong stuff. Oral ingestion with an MAOI will extend the duration of the effects. Depending on the amount of DMT consumed, peak effects will last 2-6 hours."

"An unusual (but fairly common) aspect of DMT consumption is the presence of aliens. Many users talk of seeing and/or communicating with alien life forms. Some think these aliens are present in the DMT itself, while others think DMT transports the user to another dimension or universe."

"The term mind blowing might have been invented for this drug. The experience was described by Alan Watts as like being fired out of the nozzle of an atomic cannon. Thoughts and visions crowd in at great speed. A sense of leaving or transcending time and a feeling that objects have lost all form and dissolved into a play of vibrations are characteristic. The effect can be like instant transportation to another universe for a timeless sojourn."

1600x1216 TruDef frames only 39KB in size! Kramer was a genius! I would like to see his idea demonstrated in the 8,000 pixel range!

TruDef has been tested with the "Magic Hour" sequence of StEM (Standard Evaluation Material) commissioned by DCI (Digital Cinema Initiative) for purposes of quality analysis of video compression codecs. This footage contains a number of elements such as complex motion, film graining and color variations that are a better test of a video codec's capabilities.

TruDef was tested by cropping out 1600x1216 sections of the original 4096x1714 uncompressed RGB 4:4:4 24fps StEM footage providing 1.95 megapixel resolution which compressed in the 8-9mbps range.

Four test clips were made each containing 98 frames with a total file size of 15.4MB. The average 1600x1216 frame size is 39KB.
