I remember years ago hearing about the "Lumerians" (sp?) who were considered to be "light bodies". This may be a myth, but it certainly resonates when we look at all you have posted here. These Lumerians actually floated or flew rather than walked upon the earth. It's my understanding that they lost their ability to do this because they became more entrenched in the denser world of matter, believing in their bodies rather than their state of consciousness (or something along these lines, I don't remember exactly.)
