The real question has to do with whether or not Turner's analysis is worth anything. Does he really have inside information?

Does his credibility rest solely with his politics? I once had a brilliant professor who was a raving Communist. He taught well, but I disliked his politics. Should I have discounted the course? I really dislike Turner and I dislike his politics, but do I turn away from his analysis solely for those reasons? That could lead to a bad case of sunburn on my ass because I've got my head buried in the sand.

The closed-door session was very much out of the norm, and the financial industries really are on the verge of collapse. I think this bears watching.
