Congressman Traficant's Speech on US Bankruptcy | |

I have read this speech many times and I remember seeing the CSPAN video of it, so it did happen for sure. I remember seeing him give this exact speech. Here is a little info that I wasn't aware of, in July of last year he was sent to a federal hospital, a MENTAL hospital. I hadn't heard about this but this is what I found at his wikipedia page: "As of July 2007, the Federal Bureau of Prisons listed Traficant at the Federal Medical Center, Rochester, an administrative facility providing specialized mental health services." [link to en.wikipedia.org] They will stop at nothing to destroy the patriotic. |

What they did to him was the most outrageous thing I have ever witnessed. His only crime was that he had integrity and was surrounded by people of the lowest moral character you can ever imagine. You can only hope justice is somehow done in his case. |

I didn't know that Traficant was incarcerated in a mental hospital. He would have been perfect as Ron Paul's running mate. Ron Paul is making the same speeches in Congress and, so far, has escaped the worst the madmen have done to others. . |

She'd never heard a thing about any of it. Heck, neither had I until I found GLP. LOL! GLPers might be served well if they start looking into the background of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). They might want to research phrases and remedies having to do with the UCC, as well. Uniform Commercial Code 1 [link to www.law.cornell.edu] Texans... What of those people who were trying to do the right thing? What of them? Why should the people who live beyond their means be allowed to be bailed out time and time again, ie, chrysler, (just one of many), when the average joe who was not born to an elite family constantly gets the short end when he tries to do the right thing all along? |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 318590 United States 03/18/2008 04:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | To silence Traficant, certain members of Congress found a means to put him in prison on trumped-up charges. The hearings were like a kangaroo court; whereby, he was not allowed to bring in certain witnesses, documents, and testimony. Judge Lesley Wells of the U.S. District Court in Cleveland, Ohio, was prejudiced toward Traficant and refused to set bail for Traficant, ordering that service of his term should begin immediately. Denial of bail also sets aside all pending appeals to Traficant's conviction. Traficant is now serving an eight year prison sentence in federal prison for his April 11, 2002 conviction on trumped-up felony charges of bribery, corruption and tax evasion. By a vote of 420-1, Traficant was also expelled from the House of Representatives. House Resolution No. 495 read simply, "Resolved, That, pursuant to article I, section 5, clause 2 of the United States Constitution, Representative James A. Traficant, Jr., be, and he hereby is expelled, from the House of Representatives." Traficant is the second member of the House to be expelled since the Civil War and the fifth in congressional history. Traficant, addressing the House, said "I'll go to jail before I resign and admit to something I didn't do."" Traficant, A former county sheriff, had been elected to Congress nine times by the people of his Mahoning Valley, Ohio district. He plans to run for re-election as an independent candidate and intends to serve from jail if elected |

I know someone whose father served federal time for a felony and who was transferred to the federal mental hospital in Minnesota. He was transferred there because he had agreed to "volunteer" for some sort of scientific medical testing. He told me that there is a tunnel connecting the Mayo Clinic and the federal facility that doctors use to go back and forth from their labs at Mayo. Is it possible for anyone to find out what is going on with Traficant and the reason he was transferred to the mental facility? This does not sound good! |

Traficant guilty of bribery, racketeering CLEVELAND, Ohio (CNN) -- A jury found flamboyant U.S. Rep. James Traficant guilty of bribery and all other charges against him Thursday after a two-month federal racketeering and corruption trial. The jury of 10 women and two men convicted the congressman on all counts against him, covering charges of taking bribes, filing false tax returns, racketeering, and forcing his aides to perform chores at his farm in Ohio and on his houseboat in Washington. The verdict followed four days of deliberations. The nine-term maverick Democrat represented himself in court throughout the trial, even though he is not an attorney. Traficant kept his head down as the jury's decision was read. He then said flatly, "I accept your verdict." [link to archives.cnn.com] Captain Marjorie, US Army |

It is an established fact that the United States Federal Government has been dissolved by the Emergency Banking Act, March 9, 1933, 48 Stat. 1, Public Law 89-719; Declared by President Roosevelt, being bankrupt and insolvent. So basically he's saying that the United States that we think we live in today was dissolved back in 1933? And the Constitution is meaningless now basically since that United States no longer exists? |

Sept. 1, 2003. Thanks Kewl, Here is more from Texas: Current Texas Rules of Court recognize a man’s right to deny corporate existence: By a Texas Law Researcher In "The State of Texas" there are 2 rules in the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. They are rule 52. ALLEGING A CORPORATION, and rule 93. CERTAIN PLEAS TO BE VERIFIED. Rule 52 is straight forward about the corporation status. TRCP 52. ALLEGING A CORPORATION “An allegation that a corporation is incorporated shall be taken as true, unless denied by the affidavit of the adverse party, his agent or attorney, whether such corporation is a public or private corporation and however created.” In an equity setting where there is a maritime contract in effect. Only like entities can contract with each other. The entities I am talking about are “persons”, entities in a subject to government position (citizens, body politic, corporations, members, employee's and any other man made legal fiction). Now we get to rule 93. This one is vague but interesting. In the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, this rule is mentioned in the section on the "Motion to Abate", which is basically an old common law motion. I will reproduce the important parts with my comment in parentheses. - This rule takes up a whole page. TRCP 93. CERTAIN PLEAS TO BE VERIFIED “A pleading setting up any of the following matters, unless the truth of such matters appear of record, shall be verified by affidavit. 1. That the plaintiff has not legal capacity to sue or that the defendant has not the legal capacity to be sued. ( if you are not a corporation you would lack capacity, just for fun look up "civilly dead" or "civil death") 2. That the plaintiff is not entitled to recover in the capacity in which he sues, or that the defendant is not liable in the capacity in which he is sued. (Note: Corporations, or members of a corporation as officers or employees of a corporation) cannot sue a man who is of unlimited liability status.) 3. omitted 4. That there is a defect of parties, plaintiff or defendant. (See Note in #2 above.) 5. omitted 6. That any party alleged in any pleading to be a corporation is not incorporated as alleged. (See note in #2 above)“ Ok. You get the point. This rule goes on to talk about contracts without consideration. It also talks about insurance claims. These pleadings are basically denying “personam jurisdiction” and subject matter jurisdiction. Here is one more interesting tidbit. The book to which I refer is "O'Connor's Texas Rules Civil Trials 2000". Quoting Justice Michael O'Connor On page XII: "To reduce gender choices, I refer to trial judges as the "trial court" and to parties as "it" - as though all parties were corporations, which they often are." What is the significance of this? If you answer to the appelation of "person" in response to a charge under any Statute or Act, you are considered a corporate body without a free will mind. And a quote from Sam Adams: "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." Samuel Adams, speech at the Philadelphia State House, August 1, 1776. |
