For the sore throat:

Ingredients:

1. Corn Starch
2. Natural Sugar
3. Water (enough for a bowl)

With a small bowl of cold water add two heaped teaspoons of corn starch and mix. Next, bring the water to boil. Slowly stir in the starch mix until you get a very thick consistency (the starch is a thickener). Turn the heat to low--don't allow it to burn. Then, add the sugar until it's quite sweet.

You drink a bowl of this while it is hot before bedtime. In the morning if you still have a sore throat repeat.
