There are three dams like this on Dnepr river, this one in Zaporozje city being the biggest one.

Normal missiles cant destroy this kind of structure,even if there are several hits. Now, seeing this dam I understand why Russia didn't destroy the Dnepr bridges on day one. Beside the immense flooding it would cause they probably didn't have the ordnance to do it. The production of FAB-3000, should do the job.

Good day from a drizzly Moscow Had to get some groceries today and all road screens and other ad venues are showing mourning images all over Moscow. The local shopping mall had heavily armed police guarding each entry point and frisking people down randomly. Security is very heavy. Besides that, life seems to carry on as usual. If a bit more bleaker.

The Russians precisely struck the hydro control rooms, not the dam.
