I see no hatred in the OP's post so perhaps the word hate should be defined. There is a great deal of truth in the original post. So pray tell me when did the light of truth become hatred? Why can people not read truth without reacting emotionally and making personal accusations?

Reality can be disturbing to the enlightened mind it is not so.

Challenge moves people beyond their comprehensions when they have the willingness to rise to the challenge. Free speech allows everyone to challenge the beliefs and actions of others just like Jesus did with his sword of truth.

Those that cannot take the heat better get out of the kitchen because Jesus is behind the truth movement and promised to send his angels in the end times of the end of the age to explain the difference between truth and falsehood. He predicted that the truth would come into the light of day and when it did it would set man free from captivity.

Jesus is well aware that there is a battle going on for your souls.

I think there is an "adolescent" period for religions :) Perhaps a reformation within the body of Islam is an inevitable course, and some of these extremists, much like the Church of the 13th and 14th centuries, see the writing on the wall so to speak, and are struggling with all their might to retain 'power over their flocks' - but if history is a good teacher, methinks that the next 100-200 years will see great reformations taking place.

Muslims are like other people in the world there is good and less good in all walks of life. My life as been blessed by the good and the less good. The good that entered my life have great humility and honour the sacredness of others. They can also be good listeners. The indoctrinated and brainwashed do not listen at all due to being entrenched in a belief system and you can find that in all religions. Muslims are far more defensive about their religion than others and this is because they know in their heart something is not right. Truth does not need defending if it is right. A Muslim sister told me a few years ago that many Muslims are getting involved in spirituality and the more they do the more spirituality is taking precedence over their religion. Muslims have suffered enough and many do need help to break free from oppression. There are also many Muslim peace makers, there is a lot of sincerity as well and many are trying to help their brothers and sisters who cannot see the light.

Yes there are many pushing for change/reformation especially in the UK and USA where they have more freedom of speech then they had in the middle east. Many Muslim scholars have tried to reform down the ages but were murdered, imprisoned etc. Even now bloggers in Egypt are being imprisoned due to wishing to speak the light of truth. In many ways Muslims have had to come to the West to ensure that positive change takes place.

CAIR in the US refuse to sign the St Petersburg Declaration presented at this summit.

The above conference was the most progressive conference to date. The members of this conference defend the human rights of the unbelievers and some have become unbelievers themselves.

The conference was held over two days but is well worth watching all the videos. They defend the universal human rights for all.

We say to Muslim believers: there is a noble future for Islam as a personal faith, not a political doctrine; to Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Baha’is, and all members of non-Muslim faith communities: we stand with you as free and equal citizens; and to nonbelievers: we defend your unqualified liberty to question and dissent.

Before any of us is a member of the Umma, the Body of Christ, or the Chosen People, we are all members of the community of conscience, the people who must choose for themselves.
