All im going to say is that the united states government only cares about liberals,iraq,afganistan,funding NASA and filling their pockets while watching the rest of this great country go down the drain(THE RICH GET RICHER AND THE POOR GET POORER)can you say CIVAL WAR! The rates for truckers did not change since 80's it a'rent gonna change now eaither. I quit trucking after 7 years finaly reolize that what a nonsance job I was doing why? Well you have 1000 idiot outhere who is heappy to drive for company 40 years got divorse twice and sign 3 times BK. And still he wanna be in Dispatch eyes the namber one. So why would trucking companys pay more if there is thouse big drivers!!!!
Your respect in any company not worth more than .50c a mile. |

This group just dont understand much..... The trucking companies are not striking they could care less how much fuel cost they just raise the hauling price and pass it on to the stores who purchase... this is only truckers who work for themselves and that will not hurt in any way.. believe me i know. |

If nothing happens, then we are ready for the unexpected weather that can come in April.

Will not happen. How many times have we heard over the years that the truckers were shutting down due to fuel prices? 10 maybe 12 diffrent times. How many times did it actually happen? NONE ! Big corp is not going to shut their trucks down on april 1st. Independants might try but there is not enough of them left to do much harm. |

If the tanker haulers(Fuel)would get behind this action of shuting down just for one day the other truckers would have no choice but ta shut down.
Some truck stops have ta re-load more than once a day ta keep the supply on hand of fuel.Thats where ya cut em off a the balls people. |

Yes you are wrong. A single day will not be noticed. In Florida it takes 3 days for people to notice when things are not longer getting in, and about 7-10 to reach crisis.
This whole one day BS will not make any impact to anyone. It just makes a lot of people feel good for doing something for 8 hours.

how can any of you who havent even seen the inside of a truck inyour life know how or why an independant driver does what he does and for the rest of you who think the big companies will step in and pick up the slack your wrong collectively the independant still controls the majority of the industry so i say scre jb screw swift and the rest of them if they want to step in and take the freight they are gonna do it anyway let them control the whole damn industry then see where you rates go the independants keep them in check right now because we do haul alot of the freight that they dont want we spend endless hours in the produce marts and grocerie wharehouse while you company steering wheel holders do nothing u can support the independants by your truck breaking down it amazing how th problem alwasy finds a solution if they want to repo my truck and wagon so be it they are gonna run out of rooom at the used truck places lol so i say let them have it all support the strike all the way guys i say lets put the screws to everyone including those who dont want to support us lets see how they feel about us on friday |
