6 months before my main LTR broke down a few years ago, this highland lass introduced herself to me on the patio of a bar in Spain, I used her dog as an excuse to speak to her- she was out walking her Weimaraner.
She was originally from Inverness, but living in Spain.

My unhappy partner, Mum & Dad are inside; the highland lass asks if she can join me, I say "Of course [but] my parents and partner are inside".
"Oh, I didn't realize" she says.

Sensing a chance slipping away, I ask for her email address

My relationship ends, I email highland lass sometime in the next year and a half, but she has met Jose.

Highland lass and Jose have two kids now, and we still keep in touch, now and again at least.
