Seriously though, Scots have the best sense of humour that I`ve ever encountered, and I`ve been around.

Well, from the flattering to not-so-flattering descriptions of Scottish men, that explains a lot of traits in my family and in my sons. I'm part Scots-Irish and so is my husband, so our sons got a double whammy. My oldest, especially, is tall and handsome and built - you don't want to get him riled. Many learned that the hard way. He loves the wild life - by that I mean he's out in the woods or on the river every chance he gets. He also likes to party like wild, although he's older now and toned down a bit. I think he'd fit right in as a Scotsman. My youngest son is also quite handsome, with aqua-blue eyes and curly hair. He's got a little boy now with red curly hair. (His son's mother is part Scots). I'm thinking the traits of stubbornness (always needing to win an argument, whether you're right or wrong), temper, tendency to drink and fight, liking to be out running around in the woods, etc. might be Scottish traits. But then again, I'm also part Norwegian so it could be that, too. (LOL).

I've got Scandinavian blood also, so I'm blaming the Vikings for my younger, wilder days too!

i got whole theories on why Scots were such great explorers, and it is directly proportionate to how randy Scots are and the temperament of Scottish women
