I try not to crave anything as it can lead to disappointment.

On the other hand, the closer something is, the easier it is to let your guard down.

I'm not sure I'd say either (internet weirdo's and all)

BUT

Mr A Smith has recently had a college named after him here ;)

I'm not a Fifer though, heaven forbid.....I'm from up North.

I'm an exiled Dundonian, which some would say is worse than being a Fifer.

Ahh.. have you heard of Whitfield in Dundee?

Both schemes have earned notoriety sometime between the 80's and present, for being named the most socially deprived housing schemes in Europe.

Hmmm, I'll take a bit of convincing that there's worse out there than Fifers.

I'm sort of stuck here though, I'll be fighting to the bitter end to maintain my non-Fifer status but my kids were born here so I reluctantly concede that family Fifers are ok......it's just all the rest of the nippy sweeties I can't be doing with.

And we're getting a new Asda [Walmart].
