Well, My Father is a Fleming and my mother was a McGoron. One set of Great Grandparents came from Ireland, the other came from Scotland. Both had "Different" yet interesting accents, along with folk songs and tales.
However: What they both had in common was drinking, singing loudly and often and of course bragging how their homeland was better then the other.
So seeings how I was an American born granddaughter who was heavily influenced by both sides, I chose a man that both families would freckin hate equally... I hooked up with a Canadian! LOL
