In my mind, the above passage DOES suggest that the Levites were the source of levitation. Calling it "the levitation of" is a possessive descriptor.

If you disagree, please explain from the standpoint of the English language used, which is what I'm reading and responding to.

And this isn't about "only one way", it's about source of technology. But hey, I wouldn't want to point out that you're demonstrating a degree of lackluster reading skills...
