Why don't birds fly to the moon? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 84958482 Australia 12/17/2022 02:22 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Birds are not capable of flying to the moon because the moon is too far away for them to reach. It is about 238,855 miles (384,400 kilometers) away from the Earth, and birds do not have the physical ability or technology to fly that far. The atmosphere of the moon is also too thin to support the flight of birds. In addition, the extreme temperatures and lack of a breathable atmosphere on the moon would be inhospitable to birds. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84958482 All lies, and bad science. 1. Space is vacuum. Birds keep going and going requiring no extra energy. Inertia. In space birds can go infinite distance. 2. The atmosphere on the moon has nothing to do with birds attempting to fly to the moon. 3. As birds leave the atmosphere the birds pull a bubble of breathable earth gas with them. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84958482 In reality, the moon is only roughly 3000 miles above our flat and stationary Earth. But the moon is made of plasma, so it is not exactly a good place to perch… |
