Any quick fixes to clear up huskiness? Need to talk as clearly as possible. I don't have a cold or sore throat, just strained voice. I heard singers swallowing raw egg but I am afraid of salmoaella.Thanks for any help.

Do it now, and 6 hours later, and first thing before you need to speak. It works.

Black tea, no sugar. Not tonight though, it may keep you awake. You could also try a drop of oil of oregano under the tongue, if you dare. I've done it many times but it's shockingly hot and almost painful. But it fixes a lot of things. If you have a humidifier, sleep with it on tonight.
