proof? haven't seen it. The textbook says so. National Geographic says so. the Jesuits says so.

Fantasy religion? look at your own religion first before classing others as fantasy. Plus, there are lots of examples, look at the Galapagos islands for starters.

Natural selection preserves a strong genome, it in no way causes evolution.
Evolution happens over a very long time, trying to monitor it in our time-scales is fruitless.

You don't even know what you are talking about. The scriptures existed before the RCC. The early first century patriarchs letters prove that as well as the dead sea scrolls.
I understand the basic fact that the Gospels were written by men. Then they were selected by men to be part of the Bible, bits were left out, some were classed as heresy and what remains is classed as the word of God. Also, this 'word of God' has been allowed to be changed over time and revised, compacted etc. Ever heard of Chinese whispers?
