Yes. I have experienced spirits in most of the places I have lived. It seems to run in the family.

Re: Anyone lived ever in a haunted house?
When I was a kid the family lived in an old farmhouse that had Roman & Saxon archaeology in the grounds.

One night, my mother was out with her two sisters-in-law and my father & his 2 brothers remained at home.

(At the time, I was about 5 years of age (I have no personal recollection of this incident, it was told to me by my parents)..)

I had been in bed and about 9.30 I apparently came downstairs and into the living room. Being an old farmhouse, it had stone floors and a large inglenook fireplace, in which my father and his brothers had built a very large log fire which was burning brightly.

As I came towards to fireplace, it seems I tripped over the rug and fell, headlong into the fire. Before the adults could react, they told me I was lifted bodily out of the fire and 'placed' on the floor, standing, some distance from the fire. Although I had been totally immersed in the fire, I had no burns, and my night-ware was similarly intact.

In the same room, many people, myself included saw a newspaper, left unattended on the dining table, open, one page at a time, as if being read, but with no-one visible reading it! This happened regularly.

There are reports of unexplained events such as this at the farm going back through several generations.
