It wasn't actually terrible. It wasn't good, but it wasn't terrible. There's a history behind it, l.ron decades earlier intended it to strum people's engrams into making them seek Auditing, which is laughable considering the utterly powerless final product, and john travolta was okay in bargain matinee movies a couple years earlier like "White Man's Burden", but beyond little tiny novelty interest like that, it just wasn't good. I rate movies by whether or not I can even remember what the hell they were about afterwards, and this one I can't, I just remember the black guy that was mis-cast in essentially everything he was ever in, from New Twilight Zone to Species, and him and travolta's dumb costume just looked stupid together. It just wasn't a good movie.
