Will drinking Alka-Seltzer work as well as drinking plain baking soda with water? Alka-Seltzer contains aspirin, citric acid and sodium bicarbonate. I'm thinking Alka-Seltzer might be easier to swallow.

a tablespoon is too much. 1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon is enough.

That would be 12 1/2 glasses(8 ounce) of water each day.

as for the OP recommendation on the use of baking soda, I would just add that you should go over your face, section at a time, at least 3 times, and that when you rinse, you rinse with COOL NEVER COLD water....and
always wash your hands before you wash your face!!

you want to make sure the baking soda is aluminum free, the maple syrup drags the baking soda into the cell but aluminum is linked to alzheimers, you can buy aluminum free baking soda at health food stores.

Why do you want to? The planet is covered in aluminium. Every time the wind blows, you breathe in aluminium dust. Aluminium isn't poisonous.

I've been using it for years. You can mix it with castor oil and put on wounds. It draws out infection or drink it like tea, but luke warm for colds to lower the ph.

My father started drinking baking soda in water after being diagnosed with testicular cancer in the late 1960's. They had given him a grim outcome.
He bounced back.

Although he battled with some form of cancer off and on for the next 50 years, including losing a kidney to it, I swear it was the baking soda and water that kept him alive.

Baking soda is usually sold at a "dollar store" for 2 for a $1.00. While at the dollar store, pick up some hydrogen peroxide and add this to your medicine chest.

I have been recommending one pound of Arm and Hammer in a bath with 2 or 3 pounds of magnesium bath flakes, which stands in good instead of the salt Carola used. If one wanted to go for the best salt for this application I would choose Dead Sea Salt for it is reasonably high in magnesium and also in potassium salts.
I doubt if Dr. Tullio Simoncini or anyone else, me included, really realizes what can be done with sodium bicarbonate through transdermal application. It is clear that bicarbonate lives up to its reputation; bringing heavy duty healing horsepower to clinicians’ hands. Emergency rooms and intensive care wards would not be caught dead without it no matter how much bad press it continues to get.
Anyone can go home and take a bath or drink bicarbonate and can do it with safety if done with some knowledge and as long as one monitors oneself with pH strips religiously. Some people shift their pH dramatically with the bicarbonate and some peoples’ systems move with difficulty into the alkaline state.

I started putting baking soda in my cat's water when she had sores all over her and they went away. Didn't do it for a month and they came back. Now I do it once a week and she is fine. She also used to throw up all the time right after eating, and now hardly ever does. I believe it works.

I have treated a large mole with baking soda paste and a bandaid for a week. Finally the mole became smaller and disappeared. Be careful not to burn the skin watch very carefully not to put baking soda only on the mole as baking soda can burn the skin.
The baking soda and lemon juice does work for arthritis as
it does relieve the pain. I read somewhere arthritis is caused by a tiny micro organism that eats away at the joints and the bone and the large bumps are caused by the excretions of these tiny bugs. Can anyone tell me if this is true?

Yes, as posted earlier, i can confirm for a fact (from experience and using sodium bicarbonate for a couple of years now), that these are true:
1- it's safe cheap and effective for anal bleaching (i wish i could post my before and after photo) :-)
2- it's also excellent for clearing off skin pigmentation and acne
3- i know of 5 women diagnosed with breast cancer, 3 of them prefer to opt for alternative treatment by consuming small amount of S.B in their water consumption while the other two chose to go for chemo recommended by their doctors. Within less than 5mths, all 3 women on S.B has no traces of any cancer cells n are fully cured (as confirmed by their doctors) while the other 2 on chemo unfortunately passed away within 12mths after chemo!

Works GREAT for heartburn! Put about a half teaspoon or so in a 1/4 to 1/2 cup water, swirl it to mix it, and slug it down. Doesn't taste all that great, but definitely works. Plus, have you seen the price for brand name antacids? You should get a big belch about a minute after taking it, apparently being the CO2 generated from the reaction between the acid and the soda. BURP!!
