Midwest earthquake caught on tape

There was a substantial earthquake early Friday in southern Illinois. The 5.2 earthquake hit around 4:30 am and was centered about 40 miles north of Evansville, Indiana.

There are reports of damage across the region including St. Louis, Missouri and Louisville, Kentucky. It was also swayed buildings in Chicago, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, and Des Moines, Iowa.

NBC affiliate WFIE in Evansville, Indiana was on the air when the earthquake hit.

Video of the newscast shows the anchor and weatherman startled by the sudden shaking.
