Thanks, OP. It does make sense. It reinforces many things that I had already concluded but I also learned some new ideas to ponder. Very interesting.

Took me awhile to post because I just wanted to keep reading once I went to the site.

Very interesting, but I disagree with the much use of religion on the first website. I have my own beliefs about the afterlife, and most of whats said on there I believe makes sense. I died once, and came very close to dying 2 years ago - pretty sure I felt it too.

There is a council in heaven. Does it direct activities in heaven? No. Again you are an individual spirit with choices that you get to make and those choices are not guided or directed by any one other than your own thought process or with the thought that you would go to a spirit teacher guide in heaven and ask for that guidance. But a council--there is a council but not in the context that you are speaking of.

This council is a council of the highest spiritual beings. It is a council where spirit guides and teachers go to ask questions such as the one you are now asking, that we often do not have answers to. It is the council of highest spiritual oneness and a council of the highest vibrational force before one moves into their total oneness with the Creator.

And would that be at a higher spiritual level than an archangel?

Most definitely.

I've always believed there was a central place that would exist in the afterlife, where we would make decisions on where to be "born" next - especially. However the use of "heaven, archangels, etc.." shows theres a bias because even the author of that website cannot entirely, precisely know the 100% truth about the afterlife so why include religion into it?

In my beliefs, I doubt religion has anything to do with the afterlife. There will be no such place as heaven (unless you consider that the central "meeting place (if you will)" in the afterlife. No such thing as archangels since there is also no such thing as hell and demonic entities (unless you consider those the very "violent, bad" aliens, which I'm sure they exist - common sense once again).

On another note, my mom continuously has dreams of her mother and father whom have passed away and they always send out weird signals to her in her dreams. For example in one, my moms mother, my grandmother.. comes out of no where in the middle of the woods and grabs a crow by it's neck that was attacking my mother, and leaves the woods as though nothing was happening. I think this is a sign that my grandmother took away some kind of bad luck, or karma, or worry, or something in the psyche that was bothering my mom.

Dreams play a large part depending on who you are.
