Whoa, they actually rioted over winning a first round playoff series that they were heavily favored to win?

They actually have a history of doing this. they are called 'hockey riots'... go figure. its actually a tradition going back to the days of rocket ricard and problems between the anglo owners of the team and the french players and fans. buisiness as usual.

This riot has nothing to do with hockey. The ones who loves hockey, will not let a great hockey game during the first period to do something else. :)

I'm a french canadian myself..and you guys really dont know what youre talking about...and its very sad to watch.

First, these incidents were caused by some isolated groups of ppl who planned these "riots". All the real canadians supporters were singing peacefully in the streets and it was acutally a beautifull scene to watch. We were only happy about the fact that our team won, hockey is our national sport , its burned in our history.
