Ok! A worthy response. Truly. I was ridiculing the title of this post. Dec 27th is long gone and I didn't see or hear of anything big happening. But concerning your statement about the "energy weaponary", I personally think this would be imposable to use in the ocean, under the salt water. And then to force the oceanic plate up 14 feet at the break, (I think that's what it was)would require many many megatons of energy. Energy weapons, I think, only have small amounts of power, (relatively speaking) but focus them to a small point to do lots and lots of damage at the focal point.
