sorry for these repeat posts. I am not getting how to use this site at all! lol. I am the same person from La Crosse who has been posting here .. I used the name sherri several times and then joined and made the hande blackbird , but have not been able to figure out how to sign in . Thanks for being patient with me . And as far as I know I am the only one here from La Crosse... most of my posts have been annonymous . How can I make a profile here, and then sign into it , so I show up as the same person all the time ?
Thanks . lol Quoting: blackbird 438895
Blackbird someone else can explain the sign up system better than I can but I thought I'd put your post here on the most recent page because people will keep checking the latest page. Could someone help blackbird/sherri register please?
Edited to add:
Maybe a better idea would be to start a new thread with the subject line "Could someone please help me figure out how to register an account with this site?" That way it won't get lost and it won't get too off topic for this thread. A mod will probably help right away. And if people flame you just ignore them. GLP will help you get a thick skin if nothing else :-) |

I made a folder called Smiley Face Murders to bookmark all of the links associated with this.
In some of these cases, unknown people were seen talking to the victims in the bar. In one case, it was three Spanish girls, in another, a couple.
I think I mentioned this in the other thread - Chris Jenkins of Minneapolis was a LaCrosse player. Several disappearances took place in LaCarosse, Wisconsin. A young man named Matt LaCrosse disappeared, last fall (body found in a river in March) in Maine. In Michigan, the word Sinsiniwa was in the graffiti. Later, a guy disappeared on Sinsiniwa Ave in Iowa. I don't know enough about the cases to have picked up other words being repeated, but I sense a word game going on. Ethan has noticed all of the indian names associated. Chris Jenkins was dressed as an indian on Halloween when he went missing. |

"SINSINIWA CREEK runs south, through township one, range one west, and is a tributary of Fever river, in Illinois. The Sinsiniwa Mound, from which this creek derives its name, is one of those isolated, conical elevations so remarkable in this country, situated near the State line, five miles from the Mississippi. The Menomonee creek, runs between this mound and the river."

It states that the house that Chris Jenkin's girlfriend lived at, and he had been sleeping at every night for the previous 6 weeks before his disappearace, had a 10" hole in one of the bedroom walls. Found the on 11/1 (wasn't there on the 30th). The roommate who's room it was in, who was also a waitress at the Lone Star Bar (think that's the name), said she came home, didn't see anyone but felt "scared" and heard the stereo and "voices" from the living room. But didn't go there. She instead called a friend and went to his house for the night, as she was so terrified. The report also states that that night, she "couldn't walk" and was having difficulty with her body movements.
Later in the report, some cops came over. Looked at the hole, took pictures of it and a "sample". That was it. No other mention of it.
Supposedly, another roommate should have been there, a guy named Nate. And so should have Chris's girlfriend Ashley, as the female roommate said Ashley left the bar before her and went straight home. But she didn't see or talk to either of them. Nate was said to be "passed out".
I can't figure out if the girl's room was on the upper level or the lower lever. If you google the address and view the house. You can see the upper level is very high.

"At 17:40 Investigators went to ... which is the home of [Ashley]Rice and her roommates. When officers got there, all of the residents and some of the parents were present. They were getting ready to go to a U of M Gopher football game and were expecting a cab. Officers were shown an indentation in the sheet rock in one of the bedrooms. No one had an explanation for this defect in the wall which was round and approximately ten inches in diameter. Everyone agreed that it happened sometime in the morning of 11/1/2002. Investigators left with the intent to return at a later time for interviews."
"Investigators went to the room on the upper level of the duplex. The hole in the wall was photographed by Officer Egge on a Fuji disposable 35 mm camera provided by the B of I. Sgt. Jackson collected a sample of the broken sheet rock wall." (This info is on pg. 28 of the report)

if they do hope to someday bring charges might this not be harming rather than helping?
any ideas but yours are clearly disinfo. geez.
kids drink, guys go to the edges of rivers to piss and fall in. river waters pull/move/tug their bodies down stream or if in an area with a dam, it will tumble the body around.

in older homes, they had stove pipes that went pretty much from the middle of the home and even upstairs so as to help keep the children from freezing at night. so although the stove may be on the first floor, chimeny/stove pipe is through the house and up the roof generally. stove pipe can be placed in the side of a house too but it's usually through the roof.
an "indentation" is usually not a hole but sheetrock breaks pretty easily. if you crammed your brother's head (or anyones in case of a fight)into sheetrock it could leave an eight inch hole/indentation. |

I don't think the drywall damage means much without more info. It could have been a basketball for all we know. I don't think Chris Jenkins was back home from the bar the night he went missing. Could someone's head have been rammed into the wall, during the daytime? Sure. Without good interviews, it remains an odd piece of information. |
