Think about it. People are out near the rivers more during those off months making it more likely for an individual to get caught. Bodies would be found much sooner than in the cold January weather. With all of the flooding this year across the midwest it may not be possible to attempt any crime such disposing of a body. |

Or maybe the killer(s) are really students themselves and their little cults break up for the summer break and killer(s) also go back to their own home towns for those months. |

Maybe the group or cult members that are involved often don't know they are part of a murder.They invite a guy to a party as an assignment.When they get him sufficiently fuked up,they then call a cab for him.Except it is not really a cab,because they are handing the victim over to the killer,but maybe don't know it.If they say anything they know they will be a suspect.maybe the true killer has set them up somehow to take the fall should things not go according to plan.In the instances where a cab was called,no one was able to identify which cab or driver came to pick up the victim.Why is that? |

In November 2002, Glenn Leadley moved to Chicago. He was attending a party at a friend’s apartment on Chicago’s Gold Coast. According to his father, Gary, Glenn allegedly told friends he wasn't feeling well and left to catch a cab around 10:30 pm. The party's hostess saw Leadley walk toward a taxi, but she headed back to her apartment before seeing him get into the cab. A surveillance tape showed a partial image of a taxi leaving the building's driveway, but it was unclear whether Leadley was in the cab. The cab driver has not been identified.
Same with other cases.No one was able to identify the cab.Was it a cab or was the victim supposed to believe it was a cab? |

They did not arrest him for murder,but I think they know he is a killer.they will probably try to cover up how widespread this is.I was a skeptic at first that so many were murdered, but now I believe a lot more than 40 were murdered and it is probably people in high places behind it.
They will cover this up like they did when one of our own sent anthrax to senators from our own army lab. |

It's on pg. 2 of this thread. How did you find out that he had been arrested? Do you have a link? What was he arrested for?
Also, what other arrests besides his are you referring to?
I found this out becuase it is what i expected and was looking for.there have been recent disappearances in Indiana and nearby where the one suspect was apprehended in Illinois.The executives wifes name is Val.that is the name of a grocery store the eleventh child of his family was abducted from.The people that are being forced to go along with the murders and carrying them out have left clues to who the killers are.Some of the killers do it willingly,some are reluctant,but blackmailed to help.This was a note found on a car.

I still think that there is a clue in the months that there are no murders. At first I thought it was because the killer(s) prey goes elsewhere for summer months. But now I am really leaning towards the theory that the killer(s) themselves are students that go elsewhere during summer.

I think some kind of secret society is involved.I never started with that assumption.Someone could be joining this secret society.Some on the internet possibly.They are given tasks to do that seem meaningless.Some of them get involved in helping with a murder.They may not even know they are helping set up a victim.Some of them however may realize what occurred and they enjoy being part of a murder.This is how they could create a murderers club and get several people involved.They invite someone to a party or hang out with the victim at a bar.They drug them.Some of them hallucinate and get a little crazy so they get kicked out.Others are feeling sick so they decide to leave.They may even give them a number to a cab or call the cab themselves.While the victim is waiting outside,someone waits until no one is looking and they abduct the victim.They may even take a ride in a fake cab with the killer. |

This is true but it may be a clue.Bennett is a soccer coach and he is English.The clues indicate the killer could be a soccer fan.When I attemped to set out to figure out what the Pennsyvaia graffiti could mean,I never started with the assumption it was soccer related.I started based on the assumption it could tie murders together through fictional characters because that seemed to be the case with the Middlebury graffiti .After coming up with Get Smart and Warren.(Warren by the way is a city in West virginia in Lincoln County and also there is a Warren county that has I66 running through it.)(66 is in the Pennsyvania graffiti)
The Lincoln pattern was established by others besides myself(see footprints on the rivers edge)
First off when I saw i was left with warren I did not know the above facts about the name Warren.I saw that i could make scot parker and ham with the rest of the possible letters.Scot Parker is a well known soccer player that plays for west Ham.I also did not know that at the time.When i tried to make sense of the middlebury graffiti I did not know brian carrick was the eleventh child(another pattern that repeats itself)The patterns probably go much deeper.There is much not known.For instance there is a possible victim named McNeil.He went to Fordham University.fordham university has a place called Lincoln Center. |

Yes I just read the article about that man in Wisconsin, sounds like something from a scarey movie and it definetly fits the profile, he seems to like boys in there twentys. I wonder if any of these drowning victims could have been tied up in this guys basement, assualted and then put into the river? It says he picks them up in bars! |

According to the Fox News story, Lanphear frequented the same bar the young victim did, and after recently passing out in a car, the victim awoke to discover that he'd been chained, put in flex cuffs and blindfolded. The young man also reported being sexually assaulted before he was able to escape.
When police arrived, they stumbled upon another young man who had disappeared after telling friend he was walking home alone after a fireworks display. Police say that that man ended up getting a ride from Lanphear. During the course of driving, Lanphear pulled over told the victim he was a police officer, and hand cuffed him. At one point the handcuffs became loose, and police say that Lanphear then knocked the young man out. He spent the next days restrained in Lanphear's basement, where he was also sexually assaulted.
Both victims were in their 20's. |

Ethan I have been following this thread( which has yielded a number of valid theories worthy of further dicscussion) quite actively for awhile now and while I must credit you for your effort and persistence, I feel obligated to say that your research is really crappy. You force patterns where there aren't any, you draw wafer thin corrolations and you try in vain to fit everything in to your ever changing paradigm. You really have no theory it seems other than the people responsible like patterns. The fact that you constantly update and add things to the list of what their patterns are only serves to discredit your findings further. The only reason I am writing this is thus: some person or persons has been whole sale stalking, murdering and desecrating an entire generation of students. This is obviously horrifying and infuriating and needs to be solved ASAP. Far flung, poorly constructed arguments such as yours, especially when submitted to law enforcement, doom amateur investigation to the lunatic fringe. Appologies if I offended you, I just really give a shit about this stuff and want to stop these monsters. And I think there is a good chance kids like us will figure it out before the cops do. I agree there is no pattern other than the midwest! It's just a cold blooded killer(s) who happen to be in the midwest region for some reason, maybe works here at those times of the year these killings are happening!!! somebody who is jealous of these young smart goodlooking kids, or a sexual predator like the man in the above post they just caught!!!!!!!!! I tend to believe it's maybe 2 men doing this as one man cannot possibly be in 2 places at the same time. If you want a wild theory, snuff movies come to mind, then dispose the body into the water to get rid of evidence, but who knows, this will probably never get solved if the cops don't care or want it to! How come we haven't heard about these extentive testing their susposely doing on these bodies looking for seeing if these kids were druged? |

I'm kind of stuck on this Edward Lanphear guy. He's 46 years old . I can't believe he hasn't tried this before. If you go to the news articles you can read 7 pages of evidence removed from the house.... Lots and lots of chaine,locks bolts and dog collars. Also the "captive bed" where he kept one guy chained and bolted to the floor. Oh yeah and the plastic on the floor for easy clean up. One blogger said he often vacationed in La Crosse. He's a hunter fisherman...hunts prey knows the water. I wonder how long he has been divorced? (what Year?) losing someone like that can trigger crazy behavior.What weekend does he have custody of his boy(maybe the last two weekends of each month?) |
