I agree there is no pattern other than the midwest! It's just a cold blooded killer(s) who happen to be in the midwest region for some reason, maybe works here at those times of the year these killings are happening!!! somebody who is jealous of these young smart goodlooking kids, or a sexual predator like the man in the above post they just caught!!!!!!!!! I tend to believe it's maybe 2 men doing this as one man cannot possibly be in 2 places at the same time. If you want a wild theory, snuff movies come to mind, then dispose the body into the water to get rid of evidence, but who knows, this will probably never get solved if the cops don't care or want it to! I think the snuff films might actually be a good call. From what I understand of the child porn/snuff film business is that the more rare the victim the higher the market value of the film desecrating them. It stands to reason that athletic, academically succesful and, mostly, caucasian college age males would serve as quite the exotic victim.
Further elaboration on the snuff film theory: one wonders if this has any sort of ted gunderson/S.R.A. political orgy connection.
Also, unrelated to your theory, has it occured to anyone else that the group maybe affiliated only via e-mail, ie sleeper cells, could explain the area covered. Although the constant occurence of the, I'm canadian forgive me, 1-60(?) highway implies that the killers share areas in common. Anywhoo. Good work kids. Happy hunting.

On another post I mentioned the May Day Mysteries and how smiley faces are used on there announcements.
Also on the May Day mystery site someone has mentioned Neurocam.I looked this up a while back and it all sounds very strange.

Neurocam originally began in Australia but has spread to other countries,including the USA.Maybe some college students have joined neurocam.
If you research neurocam you also come across a site called yellow1.It is all very secretive and you get challenges to do.Newspaper articles mention people getting photographed and blindfolded and taken away in a car to secret places

I think it's great these parents aren't just sitting back and waiting for the police to do something, not that they don't do their job but, it seems just because these kids drowned CASE CLOSED ACCIDENTIAL, bullshit! Somebody needs to get ALL these parents together and they should raise some hell( that would be great, maybe then something would be done other than one day of news)! They need to put pressure on this to keep these cases alive!! Good going, I'm glad theirs a new website and everyone should sign the petition! Let's get these perps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I don't agree the murders are just in the midwest.At least 3 students were soccer players in the northeast and 2 were at the same number address-11-in addition RT 11 runs through those cities and the colleges are just off that road.Also the number 11 has been left in graffiti in at least4 locations that I know of.How can some one accuse me of creating patterns.I do not create the patterns .Any one that saw the process of how i work would know i keep coming across similarities that i never set out to find in the first place.I have looked at hundreds of cases.I was always a wizz at puzzles and i could memorize huge volumes of information.In fact I would welcome the FBI to go through my school records and scrutinize my qualifications. |

I would never set out to find evidence that a killer targets several areas around the country just so they can create some kind of pattern .That would not make any sense.It is what it is.I have known people who have gone to doctors that were unwilling to give a correct diagnosis for someones condition because it was not considered a more common ailment,even when the symptoms were all there.The skeptics are like those doctors.It is just so weird and seems out of the ordinary that they are in denial.A crazy person is capable of doing all kinds of strange things. |

still waiting for result of investigation in edward lanphear case. with so much dna evidence to test it could be months before we know more. I hope they can find out if he had anything to do with Brittany Zimmerman murder in the next few day or weeks. We seem to be in a very slow news cycle right now. Until more is made public things seem to be at a stand still. |

Lighten up it is just theories and Ethan Only points out patterns ,he does not create them.Since you can't assume every death or disappearance is a murder you have to look at the more suspicious ones.He could be on the right track or maybe not.It is hard to say without a fair comparison or all the data.I did some checking and 1966 is the only year Enland won the world cup or hosted it.So far the further you dig the more it indicates he may be right.The Pennsylvania does look like it could be a code of some kind with the symbols representing something.he may not be 100% correct,but he may be on the right track. |

OK SO I,m guessing this thread is over considering their has been no new post lately. There has been alot of recent news on FOX channel and CNN ,so what i'm thinking is,let's start a new theard and call it ,MISSING PERSONS, and maybe we'll get some information( after all i'm from iowa where Matt was found drowened in the Mississippi), hopefilly the police will solve these drownings cases! I'm discused, because I live a hop skip and a jump from Lacrosse Wisc. If anyone wants to contiue to chat or knows some info, I think we should start a new theard! Local police became involved after Wilson's 2004 silver Dodge Neon was found on June 10 in the 1200 block of Allston Way in Berkeley.
According to police, Wilson was being interviewed tonight by a detective in order to learn the circumstances around Wilson's disappearance and what he has been doing the last eight months." |

I've been spending a lot of time following the Caylee Anthony case- the little girl who has been missing for 2 months now. Not that I am a believer in psychic abilities per se, but I have been looking at a website called Brian's Dreams

Man found in Fox River identified
A man whose body was found Saturday in the Fox River in Winnebago County has been identified as Michael J. True, said Oshkosh police Sgt. Steve Sagmeister.
True, 27, was a resident of Granger, Ind., but he had family in Oshkosh, Sagmeister said.
The preliminary cause of death is drowning, although the investigation is still open and officials are awaiting the results of a toxicology test, Sagmeister said.
No signs of foul play have been found, he said. |
