Luis Alford told police he hit Miller with a hammer and stabbed him with a barbecue fork, while his brother stabbed him with a knife, authorities said. His brother claimed full responsibility for the killing, after first blaming it on an unidentified third party, according to the county attorney's office.
"He said he hit Mr. Miller in the head with a pipe five or six times and stabbed him with anything he could find," the criminal complaint states.
A fisherman discovered the van belonging to Miller's employer submerged in the Cedar River Friday morning near Palo.

Roach, who has a Minnesota criminal record, also told police he’d been a member of a gang he referred to as “DOD” and then called Dealers of Death. He said Jeramy Alford was the leader.

Another family and college community is grieving after a missing young man is found drowned. A body matching the physical description of Trevor Boehm was found in Lake Michigan on Sunday, November 16, 2008.
Trevor was reported missing when his parents showed up for parents weekend at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and couldn't find him. He was last seen November 5th.
A positive ID has not been made and the police officers handling the case say they don't suspect foul play in this case.
Besides the time of year, Trevor's age, status in college and physical description people will, no doubt, compare his drowning to others across the country now part of the Smiley Face Killer theory. There are some similarities. Just like in several of the La Crosse drowning victims, some of Trevor's clothes were found near the shoreline. His cell phone and wallet were also found there.

Benjamin Collen 19 yrs old from Lincolnwood had been missing since Nov 14. His body was found over the weekend inside a fraternity house storage room on the Chicago campus.The autopsy ruled cause of death was asphyxia due to inhalation of carbon dioxide from a canister. Collen was a sophomore biomedical engineering major. The case was ruled an accident and police are not looking into this futher! Collen belonged to the fraternity, ALPHA SIGMA PHI, since his freshman year. Recently he was kicked out! HMMMM.....

Booker, who graduated from Niles West High School in 2007 with Collen, said he was not aware that his friend was inhaling carbon dioxide. He said Collen was a bright student who played on the chess team and won science awards in high school. He said he was an occasional prankster who enjoyed a good debate.

I don't aggresively work on this any more.I think the lack of sleep and over thinking led me to a few pretty far out theories.My interpretation of the graffiti was probably way off.It may just be gang symbols.What looks like a d with an arrow could be the symbol for the Darrow Street gang.They used to hang out at the corner of Darrow and King street in Clarksville Tennessee...hence the name.I don't know much about them .I still think there is a killer and the whole point of the murders is to mock the police.Maybe each symbol represents part of gangs in different cities that are united.I think the families an police need to piece this together.In this city the victim was going to a hotel despite the fact he rented a home.Rumor has it that he may have been playing around and a jealous boyfriend did him in.I don't believe that.I think he was lured away by a female for the purpose of being murded .If they would find out who he was to meet at the motel that might lead to a killer.Since the family does not want to accept this as a murder and either do the police ,with the possible exception of a few officers that will probably never happen.

An assistant manager (the victim) died of asphyxiation when he attempted to stop a refrigeration system gas leak inside the compressor room at a mall complex. A maintenance supervisor, and a maintenance worker entered the compressor room through self-closing doors. All three individuals became unconscious and collapsed.

1. A nationwide organization with “pods” in many cities has been torturing and killing scores of young men. College men have been killed in states from Washington to New York. Many men have been killed in the upper mid west. Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Iowa and Ohio. There are probably many more we don't know of yet. Perhaps there are hundreds. Perhaps there are thousands. More than 40 men are known to have been their victims.
2. Bodies are often dumped into rivers. The murderous organization often leaves graffiti smiling face drawings at the scene where the body was dumped into the river. Here is a recent smiling face marking another dead college man.
3. Sometimes they leave other clues painted with the smiley face. For example it might be the name of the street where another man was killed in another state.
4. The FBI has done some investigating but has said nothing and done nothing.
5. At least one dead man, Jenkins, was seen being assaulted by a group of black men before he disappeared. One was named Mohamed. When Jenkins escaped and walked away one of the black men followed him. His body was recovered in the Mississippi River some months later. The blue gun thugs did not interview the group of black men, nor Mohammad. One very sick blue gun thug told Mr. Jenkins' parents that he probably ran off with a hooker and would be back on Monday.
6. At least one of the dead men was involved in a university Lacrosse team.
7. University campuses are “gun free zones” where intended victims are assumed to be unarmed and unable to protect themselves.
8. Blue gun thugs in every city have turned away from investigation of these mass murders. They frequently write off the deaths as “suicide” or “accidental drowning.” Kevin Gannon and Anthony Duarte weren't allowed to investigate these mass murders until they retired from the NYPD.

Techs of all sorts often have keys to campus buildings, so they don't have to waste time running around for access to utility rooms. I know I have many keys for communications work at colleges.

Purdue University police are investigating how Steffey was able to enter the utility room when it should have been locked. Police are examining the lock to determine if it had been tampered with or whether it was faulty.
