beats me.I can't work on this today.It takes time.I just found out Kristi Piel did not even know about the smiley face pic I took.I am trying to get an issue with my non working computer resolved.This one sucks.I have no internet at home.Fex x is claiming they delivered the part but they did not.My life is complicated right now and hectic.

Man found dead in frozen pond

The jagged spot where police smashed through the ice and pulled David Martinez's body from a landscaping pond had refrozen by yesterday morning.

Three bouquets of flowers sat just inches from its shiny surface.

An autopsy confirmed yesterday that Martinez, 26, of Berlin, Camden County, had drowned in the pond outside Taylors Bar & Grill, the popular Cherry Hill nightspot where he had been partying with friends on New Year's Eve.

Police don't suspect foul play, but how Martinez, a recent college graduate and member of the Air National Guard, came to be floating face-up beneath an inch of frozen ice remains a mystery.

Cherry Hill Detective Sgt. Joseph W. Vitarelli Jr. said Martinez had "marks" on his chin and may have struck one of the many metal fountains in the pond when he fell.

"He may have been knocked out," he said. "It's not that deep and there's no evidence that he tried to get out."

Authorities say Martinez, who had rented a room at the nearby Crowne Plaza hotel with friends for New Year's, arrived at the bar about 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve and was last seen leaving about 1 a.m.

His parents reported him missing Thursday afternoon. Police found Martinez in the pond about 9 p.m.

Martinez's mother, Giuseppina, said that her son's friends told her he was kicked out of the bar by bouncers to make room for more customers waiting in line.

"He had no jacket on," she said.

Capt. Joseph Bowen, of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, confirmed that Martinez had been "removed" from the bar but couldn't say why.

Martinez's blood alcohol content won't be known until toxicology results come back in several weeks, Bowen said.

The pond, on a small lawn a few feet from a Taylors parking lot and Route 70, is not fenced in and is accessible to anyone outside the bar. Water from the pond runs into a waterfall that cascades onto the bar's outside deck.

"Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and friends of this young man," Taylors General Manager Rich Bunt said.

Bunt said he didn't know why Martinez was kicked out of the bar.

Martinez was born in Italy, and grew up in Colorado before moving to South Jersey, his family said.

After graduating from Lenape High School in Burlington County, Martinez got a criminal justice degree at Stockton College, in Atlantic County.

Giuseppina Martinez said her son, who worked as a security guard, had recent job offers from the CIA, FBI, and New Jersey's Department of Corrections.

"He was going to stay close home I think," she said. "He wanted to stay in New Jersey."

Cherry Hill code officials said Taylors was not required to have a fence around the pond but Giuseppina Martinez questioned the bar's judgement for not doing so or at least draining the water in the winter.

"It's right out in the open," she said. "Little kids could walk up to it and fall in. You could walk through the parking lot and fall in. My son fell in."

good idea.I wish i had more time to work on this.i would like to tell you all where i am at but at this point i can't post things on the internet.I really did not have many choices in the first place because it is not like I can get people I know and law enforcement to work with me.They want evidence in the first place that a crime was even commited or they just don't want to take the time to help.It is a larger burden to carry to make the case for murder so it does not get brushed off as a case of another stupid kid getting drunk and drowning.

Willie Jacobson drown in Ithaca, NY on April 27, 2008. It was reported that Jacobson was from Minnesota. Two days after Jacobson's death, the New York Daily News reported, "A spray-painted smiley face with a taunting grin could be the disturbing signature of a nationwide network of killers who target promising college students" and "They're laughing at the police".

The very next suspected Smiley Face case was a college student from Marshall, Minnesota named Brandon Swanson. Strangely, his car was found abandoned near the town of Taunton, even though he told his parents that he was in a different county at the time his call abruptly ended. Notice the cryptic connection between the "taunting grin" and "laughing at the police" quotes from the newspaper. Taunt the police (Taunton-Marshall).

Josh Snell was last heard from on the same day as Geib, but about an hour later. Snell called a friend on the evening that he drown to say that he thought that unknown people were following him and that he might be in trouble with the police. Local police confirmed that they had no contact with Snell, so this may have been someone impersonating an officer.

Another strange thing about the NEMEC word victims is that a police bloodhound was tracking the same scent in both the Chris Jenkins case as well as the Josh Guimond case, which seems to indicate that the same person's scent was found at both locations, even though these were in different cities and a number of miles apart. The Jenkins death was ruled a homicide.


The San Francisco Connection

Clues that point to San Francisco seem to be a frequent pattern in the Smiley Face case. These include:

-A Gary Snyder poem about the deaths of young white males was left at the creek in Duluth where two young white male college students died. This poem was originally published in August 1968 in San Francisco. This is just a few months before the Zodiac Killer would go on a murder rampage around San Francisco.

-Multiple Smiley Face death locations had graffiti that was similer to the Zodiac Killers drawings that he sent to various people in San Francisco.

-Three murder victims of Cary Stayner had rented their car in San Francisco and were supposed to fly back to San Francisco, but were murdered instead. This is related to the NEMEC clue as explained above in the Word Patterns section.
