I don't like to think about what they do to the victims .There are not a lot of marks on victims as far as I know so maybe there is some kind of psychological torture?

i dont lke to think about what they do to them either.
police have reports of people being kept for years.and suffering the whole time.many times its heat and cold.they take rooms and setup the hvac's its incredibly evil.makes em laugh though.

There probably is a they because of the logistics involved.I suppose a single female could do some abductions by herself but there are clues in some cases others are involved.Someone else may have called for a cab besides the victim and they may be in on it as well as the fake cab driver.McNeil was one of the early victims and he was waiting for a girl to get out of the bathroom.The detectives think it is a gang so that by itself gives the theory credibility.They know things we don't

Does anyone know more about Jeramy Alford besides what is on the footsteps at river's edge site? He is a suspect in the Chris Jenkins murder.

He claims to belong to a group that is killing young men in Iowa and Minnesota. He said that group is a sub group to a larger gang based in Chicago. He named two other men with nick names of Zmiley (Smiley with a Z) and Roach who were members also.

Is Alford the arrest that Gannon said was forthcoming about a year ago?

What is interesting is that supposedly the FBI questioned Zmiley and Roach and they confirmed what Alford had told police. Alford had said that the entire gang (including all sub groups) has about 300 members and is responsible for 40 of these deaths. I'm not sure if it is just his sub group that is responsible for 40 deaths or the whole gang of 300.

The part about the FBI questioning Zmiley and Roach was in a police report. So if the FBI is questioning these people than why are they claiming that these deaths are accidental?

I think we should take a closer look at what Alford is saying. I don't understand why there isn't more on this at Lisa's site, the detectives' site, or the reporter's site.

It just seems like the FBI is dropping the ball on this. Why aren't they doing under-cover surveillance at some of the bars in these college towns? It would seem if they did this that at some point they would get lucky, especially on the quarter moons.

Why aren't these bars running hidden cameras? Maybe the bar owners, workers, or bands, etc. are in on it. It just seems that more of an effort is needed besides just the two detectives and the reporter.

I believe that with all of Dan's last words, they will have to take all these victims seriously now(but who really nows that for sure).....as long as more attention is brought to the public.
I'm trying to figure out how to contact Nancy Grace cause I'm tired of hearing about Casey Anthony.
These type of cases need to be in the public's eye.
And you don't know.....maybe with Kristi Piehl bringing all this attention, she could very well be on her way to figuring it out.......maybe not any time soon.......but we just don't know.

Thank you, Annonymous coward, for contacting the investigating officer. The SF killer came to mind immediately when I heard of the Zamlen case. I am an employee at St. Thomas and saw the enormous search party and this boy's family today. The parents were emotional zombies and the youngest sister broke down and wept many times. I just didn't have the courage to go up to any of the search organizers and ask if they were looking for SF clues. I am the coward! I read the first couple pages of this post and skipped to the end, this current case.

There cannot be so many co-incidences. Something fishy is going on. I'm not sure if you are familiar with Mississippi River Blvd, where he disappeared. But I am. If a person fell there is just way too many trees and lots of brush so if it very unlikely you would fall into the river. Anyone falling into the river would have to be close to it. The sidewalk, or trail, along the river leaves way too much room for obstacles to come in the way of the river. I can't buy that theory. Plus I think he called oh my god, and help, what does that tell you?
