There's a lot of troubling things about the Chris Jenkins case.
To me, the manner of the body fits well with the ritual behavior associated with a serial killer. (By ritual, meaning the killer does something to the body, like a routine and not necesarily relating to the occult.)
Chris was found floating on his back, odd for a drowning, his clothes were tucked in and his shoes were on his feet. This is odd for a drowning.
Chris Jenkin's arms were crossed and he had clumps of his own hair in his closed fists. (DNA test 4 years later)
I also do not believe that Chris was thrown off the bridge. The manner of the body suggests that he was placed into the water and not thrown off a bridge. Not only that, but the manner of the body suggests that Chris was dead when he was placed into the water.
The cops dropped the ball big time with this case. Because it wasn't ruled a homicide, key evidence was destroyed and testimoney was never taken. (For example there were 2 off duty police officers at the bar the night Chris disappeared. It is claimed that they befriended his girlfriend.) Quoting: Anonymous Coward 629667

I know someone else on here brought up the theory that it could have been someone inpersonating a police officer, perhaps offering a ride home to the victim or telling them their taking him in for public intox, but wouldn't someone have saw that, unless the killer waited until the victim walking got further away from the bars or party or from wherever he was last at. One of the victims called a friend and said he thought he was in trouble with the law and there chasing him then the call ended (something like that). |

So they perpetrators use the smiley face as a symbol of their platoon. Perhaps even take the anti-depressant Nicole took which caused her to put makeup on her face. I'd say the toxin level is phenominal within their body. Possibly a VA would have access to these people. |

There are so many different reasons why this might be happening such as what you suggested above....it all makes my head spin.
Is it a gay man and a few women(as some have suggested),then there's the trane serial killer theory,of course....give me more time and I'll think of a few other scenarios that I've heard........I neeed to go put my son to bed. |

I recall the first major news during the Afghanistan war. There were American soldiers who were burned and hung from a bridge for everyone to see, first. Then there were reports of killings by a river where the American soldiers were just dumped.
Also, there was a soldier who was a school athlete who volunteered. He was killed by "friendly fire" just weeks after he was enlisted. He got a lot of national attention the other more traumatized/wounded soldiers didn't. He was attractive and considered a hero. But he was an athlete, not a soldier. That much I remember. |

I have never,not even for one day,been able to put Brian Shaffer's "disappearance" out of my mind.
I think I've said this about 3 or 4 times alone on this thread that Brian Shaffer(just completed medical school)
is the epitamy of what these killer/killers look for.
I believe that he could possibly still be alive,not sure why I believe that.But if he is being held,I believe he is being tortured,sexually even. I mean, these could be some really sick people that .....UGH.....I cannot even write what I am thinking.But I am still wondering what to make of Brian's journal entries especially the one titled "Brandon" and the one about the girl he was sleeping with(and he was not talking about his fiance.....sooo that makes me think that GIRLS ARE INVOLVED)
Anyway, yes,to answer your question about the water.......I believe that they are being dropped into the water to wash away any and all hairs and/or fibers from carpet and who knows what else that needs to be washed away.And the main reason for dropping them into the water is so they will rule it an ACCIDENTAL DROWNING,therefore making it a perfect way for a serial killer to keep getting away with it.
Maybe it's sacrifice if it's satanism(or however you spell it).And the chances of this happening because of some trauma are pretty slim since I believe more than one person is involved. |
