What happened to William Rodriguez the morning of 9/11 is a miracle. What happened to his story after-the-fact is a tragedy.
But with miracles and tragedies comes truth. And truth is exactly what Rodriguez brings to the whole mystery surrounding 9/11.
Declared a hero for saving numerous lives at Ground Zero, he was the janitor on duty the morning of 9/11 who heard and felt explosions rock the basement sub-levels of the north tower just seconds before the jetliner struck the top floors.
He not only claims he felt explosions coming from below the first sub-level while working in the basement, he says the walls were cracking around him and he pulled a man to safety by the name of Felipe David, who was severely burned from the basement explosions.
All these events occurred only seconds before and during the jetliner strike above. And through it all, he now asks a simple question everybody should be asking? How could a jetliner hit 90 floors above and burn a man’s arms and face to a crisp in the basement below within seconds of impact?
Rodriguez claims this was impossible and clearly demonstrates a controlled demolition brought down the WTC, saying "Let’s see them (the government) try to wiggle out of this one."
Well, they haven’t wiggled out of it because the government continues to act like Rodriguez doesn’t exist, basically ignoring his statements and the fact he rescued a man burnt and bleeding from the basement explosions.
His eye witness account, ignored by the media and the government, points the finger squarely on an official cover-up at the highest levels since the government contends the WTC fell only from burning jet fuel. And after listening to Rodriguez, it’s easy to see why the Bush administration wants him kept quiet.
Bush wants him quiet because Rodriguez’s account is ‘proof positive’ the WTC was brought down by a controlled demolition, not burning jet fuel. And Bush knows if he’s caught lying about this or caught in a cover-up, it’s just a matter of time before the whole house of cards comes tumbling down.
In fact, Rodriguez’s story is so damaging – so damning – it literally blows the lid off the government story, literally exposing the whole 9/11 investigation as a sham and a cover-up of the worst kind.
And it appears the cover-up also extends to the media.
NBC news knew about his story several years ago, even spending a full day at his house taping his comments. But when push came to shove, his story was never aired. Why?
His eyewitness account, backed up by at least 14 people at the scene with him, isn’t speculation or conjecture. It isn’t a story that takes a network out on a journalistic limb. It’s a story that can be backed up, a story that can be verified with hospital records and testimony from many others.
It’s a story about 14 people who felt and heard the same explosion and even saw Rodriguez, moments after the airplane hit, take David to safety, after he was burnt so bad from the basement explosion flesh was hanging from his face and both arms
So why didn’t NBC or any other major news outlets cover the story? They didn’t run it because it shot the government story to hell and back. They didn’t run it because "the powers that be" wouldn’t allow it.
Since 9/11, Rodriguez has stuck to his guns, never wavering from what he said from day one. Left homeless at times, warned to keep quiet and subtly harassed, he nevertheless has continued trying to tell get his message out in the face of a country not willing to listen.
Here is his story:
The Miracle
It’s a miracle Rodriguez, 44, who worked at the WTC for 20 years, is even alive. Usually arriving to work at 8:00am, the morning of 9/11 he reported 30 minutes late. If he’d arrived on time, it would have put him at the top floors just about the same time the jetliner hit the north tower.
"It was a miracle. If I arrived on time, like always, I’d probably be dead. I would have been up at the top floors like every morning," said Rodriguez about the quirk of fate that saved his life.
But since he was late, Rodriguez found himself checking into work in an office on sub-level 1 when the north tower was hit, seemingly out of harms way. However, the sound and concussion of a massive explosion in the sub-levels right below his feet changed that.
"When I heard the sound of the explosion, the floor beneath my feet vibrated, the walls started cracking and it everything started shaking," said Rodriguez, who was huddled together with at least 14 other people in the office.
Rodriguez said Anthony Saltamachia, supervisor for the American Maintenance Co., was one of the people in the room who stands ready to verify his story.
"Seconds after the first massive explosion below in the basement still rattled the floor, I hear another explosion from way above," said Rodriguez. "Although I was unaware at the time, this was the airplane hitting the tower, it occurred moments after the first explosion."
But before Rodriguez had time to think, co-worker Felipe David stormed into the basement office with severe burns on his face and arms, screaming for help and yelling "explosion! explosion! explosion!"
David had been in front of a nearby freight elevator on sub-level 1 about 400 feet from the office when fire burst out of the elevator shaft, causing his injuries.
"He was burned terribly," said Rodriguez. "The skin was hanging off his hands and arms. His injuries couldn’t have come from the airplane above, but only from a massive explosion below. I don’t care what the government says, what scientists say. I saw a man burned terribly from a fire that was caused from an explosion below.
"I know there were explosives placed below the trade center. I helped a man to safety who is living proof, living proof the government story is a lie and a cover-up.
"I have tried to tell my story to everybody, but nobody wants to listen. It is very strange what is going on here in supposedly the most democratic country in the world. In my home country of Puerto Rico and all the other Latin American countries, I have been allowed to tell my story uncensored. But here, I can’t even say a word."
After Rodriguez escorted David to safety outside the WTC, he returned to lead the others in the basement to safety as well. While there, he also helped two other men trapped and drowning in the basement elevator shaft, another result he says of the explosives placed below the tower.
In fact, after leading these men to safety, he even made another trip back into the north tower, against police orders, in order to rescue people from the top floors.
"I never could make it to the top, but I got up to the 33rd floor after getting some of my equipment and a face mask out of the janitor’s closet," said Rodriguez, adding he heard a series of small explosions going off between the 20th and 30th floors, unrelated to the airplane strike, while making his way through the stairwell to the top floors.
"Also, when I was on the 33rd floor, I heard strange sounds coming form the 34th floor, loud noises like someone moving and thumping heavy equipment and furniture. I knew this floor was empty and stripped due to construction work so I avoided it and continued to make my way up the stairs."
Rodriguez said he finally reached the 39th floor before being turned back by fire fighters and then, reluctantly, started his descent back down and his own flight to safety while, at the same time, hearing explosions coming from the South Tower.
The Tragedy
The concerted effort by the media and the government to silence Rodriguez is the tragedy behind this American hero’s story. And there is no question, Rodriguez is a "silent hero" for saving so many lives and for having the courage to continue telling his story against tremendous odds.
In an effort to open a fair and honest investigation as to why the WTC collapsed, Rodriguez has been ignored by government officials, the 9/11 Commission and the National Institute of Safety and Technology (NIST).
"I disagree 100% with the government story," said Rodriguez. "I met with the 9/11 Commission behind closed doors and they essentially discounted everything I said regarding the use of explosives to bring down the north tower.
"And I contacted NIST previously four times without a response. Finally, this week I asked them before they came up with their conclusion that jet fuel brought down the towers, if they ever considered my statements or the statements of any of the other survivors who heard the explosions. They just stared at me with blank faces and didn’t have any answers.
Regarding the media’s apathetic approach to his story, Rodriguez said immediately after 9/11 some newspapers picked it up but his words were never taken seriously and quickly forgotten.
"During the 9/11 hearings, NBC brought a crew out to my house and spent a day taping my story but they never did air a word of it," said Rodriguez. "Since then, some reporters and commentators have subtly warned me to keep quiet, told me my life could be in jeopardy and warned me that I really didn’t understand who I was dealing with.
"I have been receiving this type of subtle harassment for years, but I keep telling everybody I can’t be intimidated because I am on a mission. Whenever someone asks why I keep talking or warns me that I could be killed, I just tell them I have nothing to lose.
"I tell them I lost 200 friends and I am their voice now. I tell them I will do everything in my power to find out the truth since I am living on borrowed time since I probably should be dead anyway."
Besides trying to tell his explosive story, Rodriguez has been active raising money for 9/11victims, being involved with charity groups that have raised more than $122 million. He says he has used over $60,000 of his own money, originally earmarked to buy a new house, in order to get at the truth behind 9/11.
Also seeking justice at the highest level, Rodriguez is the lead plaintiff in a federal RICO lawsuit filed against President Bush and others, alleging conspiracy to commit murder and other crimes in the deaths of more than 3,000 at the WTC.
The case, filed last November in a Philadelphia federal district court, recently was moved to New York in a change of venue after a government’s motion to dismiss was overruled, allowing legal discovery to continue.
"Even if the case goes no farther, I feel we have scored a victory by winning this first battle," said Rodriguez. "At least the judge seems willing to listen which is a victory of sorts. However, I sincerely hope we can eventually take the case all the way to trial and reveal the truth to the American people about 9/11."

A few questions:
Is Felipe David still alive? What is his version of events?
How about the others that he led to safety? Have they been spoken to in order to confirm this story?
Finally, why is this story always from "Greg Szymanski" and nobody else seems the least bit interested in investigating it?
Personally, I think Willie's story becomes a "he said, she said" deal, and thus the shrugs - it's unprovable, what he claims. What's his evidence, the fact that Felix David was burned horribly? That could've happened after the impact from fuel spilling down thru the towers central core (which was essentially empty save for the elevators and massive steel columns. Fuel would've splashed down 90 stories in no time, hit the lobby structure and spread out seeking every conduit down into the basement including elevator shafts.
I'm much more interested in the Pentagon impact, which was rather clearly NOT a passenger airliner, and the Shanksburg shoot-down. Just based on the fact that our government made up these tales of "Todd Beamer, Let's Roll" and Barbara Olson using her cell phone to telephone convenient hubby Solicitor General Theodore Olson, that's enough for me to be incredibly suspicious of motives - never mine what has occurred in the eight years since.

Assuming the following tale is not completely psyops, then on 9/11, Felipe David, employed by Aramark Corp., was checking or replenishing vending machines in one of the basement levels of WTC1. (Curiously Aramark Corp has Thomas Kean—Chairman of the 9/11 Commission--as one of its Board Directors since 1994.)
The following is supposedly Felipe David’s account of what happened beginning just before the first plane “hit.” "That day I was in the basement in sub-level 1 sometime after 8:30am. Everything happened so fast, everything moved so fast. The building started shaking after I heard the explosion below, dust was flying everywhere and all of a sudden it got real hot. I threw myself onto the floor, covered my face because I felt like I was burned. I sat there for a couple of seconds on the floor and felt like I was going to die, saying to myself 'God, please give me strength.'
"When I went in, I told them it was an explosion," said David, who was then helped out of the WTC by Rodriguez and eventually taken by ambulance to New York Hospital. "When people looked at me with my skin hanging, they started crying but I heard others say 'OK, good, good, you made it alive. [This ends the extract from the first URL above.]
Now I would like people to note that nowhere in the above quote, allegedly direct from Mr. David, does he mention fire. He states that he felt and heard explosion(s), and then “it got real hot.” He never says he saw any fire. This may be crucial. However when you read of his story through the words of William Rodriguez, “fire” is added into the story. "He had been standing in front of a freight elevator on sub-level 1 about 400 feet from the office when fire burst out of the elevator shaft, causing his injuries."
Reports, as we shall see, differ greatly as to how he got to the vicinity of other workers for help, including keymaster William Rodriguez, of whom we have already seen much “coincidence” and strangeness. We have the “most official” story (always the one to be most wary of for those in the know) that he staggered into Rodriguez’ office or area, and Rodriguez helped him outside, and into an ambulance. Some earlier reports even stated that Rodriguez carried Mr. David. The following site no longer works, but I copied the following from google: “Rodriguez carried Felipe David out of the building and re-entered it to rescue two men trapped on the elevator who were in danger of ... ”
But this Christian organization’s website quotes Mr David saying he ran six blocks for help! "I asked God to give me strength. And I was able to get up and run six blocks to find an exit," Mr. David says. Then we have this remarkable TV interview that morning with Kenny Johannemann. Mr. Johannemann states that he was the one who helped David, “I dragged a guy off. His skin was hanging. I helped him into an ambulance” Note that there is no mention of Rodriguez. Wise individuals have suggested that perhaps no one interviewed on TV on 9/11 was genuine. Notice how the camera angle changes and zooms in on him, just as he is asked about “terrorism.” The regime had long range plans, and a carefully crafted script. Note how Johannemann’s arms flail just like another 9/11 witness that morning who has been shown to be bogus. He, of course, could be telling the truth (and each of you will have to draw your own conclusions), but I cannot find anything on him in recent years.
So we have at least four accounts as follows:
Rodriquez helped David to an ambulance.
Rodriquez carried David to an ambulance.
Johannemann helped David to an ambulance.
David ran six blocks to an ambulance.
Of course, in the shock and excitement of such events, we know that accounts can differ, and we cannot make any definitive conclusions in this regard.
Now, let us return to Felipe David’s “hanging skin.” What caused this? It is always possible that some conventional fire or explosives caused his burns and the hanging skin on his face and arms. But we saw that David himself did not mention “fire.” So we may conclude that it wasn’t any direct fire that caused this. A conventional explosive blast could have done this. But this too may not be so likely, as such blasts may be expected to cause different types of wounds deep into the face and arms. But that is still a possibility, as is a fire that he just didn’t see.
That brings us to one possible cause of his hanging skin, that indeed he couldn’t possibly have seen! That is radiation from a mini-nuke, which may have just exploded, at that time, in one of the sub-basement levels. One is not capable of seeing the radiation (gamma rays, neutrons) emitted by a nuclear blast. One will just feel the heat, then pain and then the skin will be damaged, and may either be vaporized, charred or hanging—depending on the flux intensity (distance, wavelength/type of the radiation etc. are factors here). This eyewitness account on the survivors of the Hiroshima nuclear attack describes how common was damaged, hanging skin amongst them. (You can use your “find” function and search on “hanging.”)
I assert my following interpretation of Mr. David’s words is the most likely account of what happened to Mr. David. He hears and feels explosion(s). He doesn’t see any fire coming at him, but is surprised to feel great heat on his skin, and goes to the floor. He then is further shocked to feel and see his skin burned and hanging. All this is very much like what the burn victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki reported.
Now radiation exposure to the skin should result in significant swelling. But we have no photos or videos of Mr. David, until this Youtube video (in Spanish) allegedly three months later, when Mr. Rodriguez visits Mr. David. David’s face does look (still?) a bit swollen, but not much. But this is allegedly three months later, without any allowed record of what his face, arms and legs looked like until that point in time. Why do we not have any photos or video of Mr David until that point in time? Could he have had massive skin swelling, beginning almost immediately after his skin was damaged by “something,” possibly radiation from a nuclear blast? Could they have only trotted Mr. David out after his swelling had come down to a “normal” level?
Finally I note that there seems to be nothing in the public record on Felipe David for the last five years or so! Even though he “too” could be regarded as a “hero.” Why do we not know where he is, and his status? Hopefully Felipe David is OK. Hopefully he did not get cancer, or other medical problems, or suffer a strange “accident.” Hopefully truly independent researchers will find him, and get his story direct from him, when he wouldn’t be surrounded by any public media, or “handlers” from the government, or any other interference. With the dearth of information forced upon us, we may ask: Where in the world is Felipe David? What has he been doing these last five years or so?
And is Felipe David the (only?) radiation survivor of a mini-nuke at the World Trade Center on 9/11? Does he share a kindred experience with those who were in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in those early days of August 1945 that marked the dawn of a new, horrible age? We must recognize that just like the World Trade Center on 9/11, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were also called…Ground Zero.

And what about the other tower. Another nuke, right?
So now there were two? Where's the Willie Rodriguez of Tower Two? Didn't they have a maintenance staff too?
I already made my point that I think 9/11 was a scam of some sort or other. Who it was, and why, I have my own opinions. But just like the hologram planes, talk of mini-nukes and bombs exploding before the plane impacted... who's deflecting the attention away here from where we really should be looking, me or you?

Anyway, it turns out that a study was done to examine this absurd "jet fuel elevator shaft" theory, hopefully so gullible people wouldn't continue to be duped by ridiculous scenarios:
Elevator car 50 was the only elevator with access from the impacted floors of WTC1 to the sublevels B2 and below, and its operator survived, having experienced no explosions or fireballs down the main freight shaft.
Arturo Griffith operated WTC1 elevator Car 50, which USA Today describes as, “the big freight car going from the six-level basement to the 108th floor.”
[The Griffiths] were both operating elevators in the north tower on Sept. 11. Arturo was running 50A, the big freight car going from the six-level basement to the 108th floor. When American Airlines Flight 11 struck at 8:46 a.m., Arturo and a co-worker were heading from the second-level basement to the 49th floor.
Like his wife, who had just closed the doors on a passenger elevator leaving the 78th floor, Arturo heard a sudden whistling sound and the impact. Cables were severed and Arturo's car plunged into free fall.
"The only thing I remember saying was 'Oh, God, Oh, God, I'm going to die,' " he says, recalling how he tried to protect his head as the car plummeted.
The emergency brakes caught after 15 or 16 floors. The imploding elevator door crushed Arturo's right knee and broke the tibia below it. His passenger escaped injury.

Aluminium-framed planes do not penetrate steel-framed skyscrapers. Instead, they shatter on impact.
The fact that it "did" does not disprove the above - it merely proves that the images were computer generated - poorly at that.

Yes, the government has lied about nearly everything. Just like they also concocted wild theories about jet fuel that escapes the fireball, travels down the elevator shaft and burns hot enough to melt steel framing, while hijacker passports flutter unharmed to the ground.

If you look hard enough on youtube you will find videos taken INSIDE bldgs 1, 2 as they were being demolished on the lower levels about 90 seconds before they came down.
when i watched those...i was stunned...
it was very difficult to REALLY accept the truth of the matter....a very sharp slap to the face.
people running out of the lower levels with cameras screaming as the lobby was blowing up almost 2 minutes before the bldg came down. SIDES BEING BLASTED IN .
but, alas....the stupid people don't really want to know this...

This was in the planning stages as early as 1972. I was told this directly, first person, by Karl Rove. The Bush's knew the builders, and planners. George Jr. was obsessed with the towers, as told to me by George Jr.
It was an inside job. Decades in the planning. When the day comes that all involved are indicted, and that includes oil company execs in bed with the Saud's, we will be free of the hold these corrupt individuals, government officials, and corporate crooks have had on us all. We might even be able to get rid of the Federal Reserve. Undoubtedly, there are those within this system who are equally involved.
What a good post with some very precise tidbits. The elevator shaft that went to the basement had an operator that survived. I never heard that befor. The bombing in the basement that occured befor.... The smoking gun is "the five dancing Israelis" There was the residue in their van, the fake passports and the film they were making. Whatever happened to the film. I believe this is the "First plane hitting the tower" film the President saw. Were they seen anywhere around the towers befor the action started? They obvoiuusly knew what was going to happen and were there to film and celebrate it. What happened to the evidence collected that day? Where's the film now? Who gave permission for them to be freed? You are right, someone should look up the man with the hanging flesh now. Good thread. The truth will be revealed. Thank You

Look, supposing there were planes, which most out there do, the fireballs outside the buildings were the jet fuel.
Some of this could have fallen down the lift wells and exploded at the bottom.
Can anyone demonstrate this guy in the basement was not burned by this fuel with any certainty ?

When an event such as this happens (disasters) there are ALWAYS discrepancies between eyewitness accounts.
Why is it that the so-called 911 truthers ALWAYS cherry pick extremely minority accounts (example hundreds of witness saw an airliner hit the Pentagon) and base their so-called research and opinions on just the small number of anomalous accounts, against much greater numbers of accounts that follow the gneral story of the day?
