Anonymous Coward User ID: 233362 5/9/2008 3:22 PM | | Re: Alternative Fuels-Using WATER to convert engine to a hybrid DIY!! | Quote | I just went back through the first ten pages, loading and then hitting search for first one word "flash" and then a second word "camera" for the two posts on how a fast buildup of high voltage was done from 9 volt batteries to fire a flash on a camera.
Couldn't find either word in that context. Only several lines on flash-back protection.
After watching the Lindemann u-tube video I see what that post was all about. |

Grower User ID: 429597 5/9/2008 3:30 PM | | Re: Alternative Fuels-Using WATER to convert engine to a hybrid DIY!! | Quote | Well fgrom what ive been reading theres a few ways to step up voltage from low voltage. A step up transformer. And im thinking a automotive ignition coil will do the same. It does take your 13.4(around about) volts from the battery+ alternator and turn it into 50,000 volts in short bursts. |

SECRET KNOWLEDGE (please note) User ID: 430526 5/9/2008 4:22 PM | | Re: Alternative Fuels-Using WATER to convert engine to a hybrid DIY!! | Quote | I am going to tell you all a secret. listen carefully test if you believe me first....
You need 3 plates... not two. Set it up as follows... neg / nothing / positive. Leave the middle plate connected to NOTHING. This will cut your amp draw in half and produce the same amount gas.
I am not lying... this is a little known fact that doesnt seem to get a lot of air.
Test it out and you will see for yourself.
Good luck everyone! I had one on my old toyota 4cyl car..
i got 52 to 55 mpg. I used vinagar and water 20/80. DO NOT FORGET to use a bubbler.
I dont have the car anymore and drive a company vehicle now most of the time so i dont need it. (free gas)
anyway.. look it up and experiment. I am telling you truth.
be safe |

yeah dude the plate thats not connected to anything is called the neutral plate. I posted twice already with a guy making that setup. What happend with your toyota? Did you take off the heads to see what it looked like inside? |

no i didnt.. sup? I sold it and my wife doesnt want me to touch her car so.. the heads to my knowledge were fine BUT a word of warning... you may kill your catalytic converter as i did after about 6 months. I knocked it out hollow after that. no need for it. I think the water vapor(steam) did it.
I also wanted to test some things and i actually ran my car a couple days on two cylinders. believe it. i disconnected where the fuel injectors connect on 2 and 4 and it still ran ok... I ran it with number 3 dead for two months with no problems.
I would suggest a carburetor if you really want to tweak. I was about to put two motorcycle carbs on it just never got around to it.
I had the "booster" on for over a year. |

Oh no I am listening, Using a nuetral is part of one of my upcoming tests. I want to test it myself becuase some people have said a nuetral doent make a very big difference and some say it does. |

 | | Re: Alternative Fuels-Using WATER to convert engine to a hybrid DIY!! | Quote | Using an automotive ignition coil to produce the high voltage pulse could work well. It would be necessary to have a current monitor on the cell so that when the DC conduction exceeds a certain value the duty cycle on the coil can be reduced to limit the amount of charge on the cell.
In all honesty unless someone has a fairly good understanding of the electronic circuitry needed to control a high voltage cell it would be better to stick with a standard electroysis cell. Remember if you are building a high voltage cell the water should be distilled without an electrolyte such as vinegar or salt. One Truth.... many realities |

The guy wasn't looking for a flash camera charging circuit, he was looking for a stun gun charging circuit (which is much the same but with higher output voltages)
Might need to go back and look for "stun," but here is what I just stumbled on:

anybody know of any exotic catalists that can do this??? cause if you can find it ....theres your answer. important personal health tip... if you find the answer... better tell the world quick ... |

Just a little up date, came home from work this eve and decidd to try a test using the stainless steel switch plates i bought hooked up to the 18v drill battery. First I used a negative, neutral, positive configuration and was pretty nice reaction, then for the hell of it I did negative, negative, positive and it seems to produce even more, videos to follow shortly as soon as they are finished uploading..!! Getting a little excited here! lol
For the new people to the thread I just started a youtube account user name hydrozam75 to keep track of my progress!
After I get the vids on here I need some input please on this discovery! |

Since there is an outside possibility that you are being sarcastic, I will just say that I have sufficient knowledge to assist someone if they are interested in building a high voltage implementation. There are numerous places on the internet and the library as well to gain knowledge.
Since I have not experimented with using high voltage to attain electrolysis I could not be considered a wise one on this particular subject, but I do enjoy learning.
So are you serious? One Truth.... many realities |

With the post about the Meyers document there is a lot of good information about the hardware configuration he used.
It would be fun to actually try to build one.
