there are 4 major prophecies that will occur almost simultaneously that will signal the transition from the end times to the beginning of the tribulation:
Prophecy #1
The final seven years will begin when the Antichrist and the international community give their support to Israel's right to exist in the land promised to Abraham by God. This is called the confirmation of the covenant. The Annapolis Treaty talks begun by Bush on 11-07 and which he has stated WILL be signed by the tiem he has left office, is nearing completion. This treaty, if it contains the important elements, will be the confirmation of the covenant. The elements it needs to contain ar the final borders of Israel, disposition of Jerusalem, and a shared Temple arrangement. So far, the talks are including al those three. If that happens or whenever it happens, it appears that will be the confirmation of the covenant and the beginning of the final seven years to Armageddon.
#2:
A massive war will begin from the vicinity of the Euphrates River resulting in the killing of one-third part of men. The prophecy is found in Revelation 9:13-16. The Euphrates runs throug...Iraq, a place in which a war has been ongoing for some years and is by all accounts, heating up.
#3: Preparations for the Mark of the Beast--in place now with REAL ID, verichip, cashless society etc
#4: Third Temple rebuilt, it's entirely prepared and ready to be assembled in a heartbeat. Furniture, robes, cornerstones, priests trained, it's all set.
So it is my opinion that we are toward the end of the birth pangs and once the treaty is signed, whether that be May or October, it is the beginning of the tribulation.

This falling away=apostasy will be a singular event not gradual, it is better expressed as THE APOSTACY one not ever seen before. How would the World react to a confirmed tomb of Jesus? (Not the joke done last summer)
Remember when asked by his disciples about his return Jesus' very first words were "Do not be decieved"!
I feel its close and it will be a world changing event

Thanks Math, but I must say I worry that we are being deceived, I can't put it into words as well as I would like, but I wonder if we are expecting these revelations to come to us through our leaders or newsprint.
Many things are happening throughout the world and I wonder if we cannot see the magnitude of them ... just pondering, no offense intended.
