Anonymous Coward User ID: 345215 United States 05/14/2008 08:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wasn't there a lost moon or something like that. I remember reading something about it years ago. However, I vaguely remember reading they already found it a year or two ago. I think it started with a p. I wish I could remember it's name. Well we'll find out soon. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 421894 United States 05/14/2008 08:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wouldn't surprise me if they came out with something like....."For 50 years we've thought there may be additional planets or celestial bodies beyond Pluto in our solar system that exert an influence on known planetary orbits. We have definitively located such an object. It seems to have an elliptical orbit .......... " ; ) |

It had a tantalizing headline though "Astronomers Find Youngest Supernova Remnant In Milky Way". but disappointing to me. I wanted it to be dark matter! Or Planet X! Oh well, ths will still be good. Anonymous Coward User ID: 358606 United States 05/14/2008 09:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | !!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE ALL EFFING IDIOTS !!!!! what the hell learn how to read. The statement specifically says: "object" Which cannot mean: wave, burst, multiple things. It is a singular thing. "looking for the past 50 years" People prior to 1958 knew/thought it (the OBJECT) existed, and since 1958 have they set out on a mission to find it (the OBJECT). (at least that is how one would read the official statement) but all we can do wait really. |
