A former University of Wisconsin-Madison lecturer who taught that the U.S. government was behind the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks is running for Congress.
Kevin Barrett says he will officially announce his challenge to Democratic U.S. Rep. Ron Kind on Monday. Barrett says he will make the announcement before a Kind town hall meeting and then ask the congressman "some pointed questions."
Barrett says he is running as a Libertarian and will be calling for an investigation into the terrorist attacks. He calls the official version of what happened a "load of hooey."
Barrett is also urging voters to throw all Democrats and Republicans out of office.
Kind has represented western Wisconsin's 3rd District in Congress since 1996. |

Better this Barret do a stealth campaign. Confrontation and he will look like a woo-woo.
Better he do a mailing to those of the district. |

Yeah, I see what you're saying, but I think with everybody being fed up with Ron Kind around there - Barrett has a real chance at advancing his ideas. It's a great opportunity..
If the majority of confrontation is centered around the poor job Kind does, then he's halfway there.. |

That's why the mailing ... in CLEAR, UNDERSTANDABLE, HONEST language would have more effect.
News is always for the sensational ... and when the "sensation" is gone ... it's on to the next "sensation".
Better Barrett put his plans directly to the people and not through the "middle men". Things get lost in "translation". |

If Barret defeats Kind that would be a real shocker.
Although any guy who taught at the UW is an overpaid,
whacko, socialist trough feeder.

Two years ago, the politicians wanted Kevin Barrett fired from his teaching job. Now Barrett is turning the tables. Barrett is calling on the voters to fire the politicians, starting with his own 3rd District Representative, Ron Kind.
Though this happened two years ago, he will have to deal with what was charged. Once rumors are started, if not dealt with openly, it will take him down ... and fast.
Alongside “end the 9/11 wars, save five trillion dollars,” Barrett is running on a “take back our freedom, save the Constitution” platform.
He needs to show HOW he's going to do that! Here's where the rubber hits the road. We're tired of the "trust me to change things" without the specifics, the way we've been treated by ALL the politicians ... Jesse V included! We always are voting blind. And then we get those like Wellstone who PROMISED, promised, promised only ONE term. Hmmmm ... that didn't seem to work out.
He points out that the Bush Administration has shredded the Bill of Rights and even revoked habeas corpus, the basis of freedom in Western law dating back to the Magna Carta. But he also argues that the destruction of Constitutional rule has been going on for many decades, with the creation of the private Federal Reserve money cartel, the establishment of the income tax, and the founding of the National Security State in 1947 being the three biggest landmarks in the gradual destruction of the Constitution.
Again he will have to show THE PLAN by which he's going to roll back time!
Along with his call to Investigate 9/11, Barrett’s platform also includes such planks as Deregulate Small Business, End the War on Drugs, Bust Up Monopoly Media, End Aid to Israel(Here, if he doesn't state that Israel has the right to defend herself, he would loose my vote!!), and Return to the Foreign Policy Principles of George Washington.
He's got a HUGE educate the public issue in front of him. Most of the current voters haven't learned what the Magna Carta even is! And that's thanks to the continuingly political correct social diversity supporting public school system. And I'm sorry to say this, the professor and his associates are also responsible for the political system that has evolved. Maybe he can make a difference ... I just won't hold my breath as there have been others in the past decade who have tried the same ... and gotten clobbered. |

Being from IL I won't be able to vote for him, but since it's a congressional District and not a Senatorial seat, there's a decent chance he could win.
I will gladly chip in $100 or whatever I can afford once his campaign is truly up and running, maybe even drive up to do some canvasing.
So to all those saying " I hope he wins " DONATE when the time comes and HELP HIM TO WIN. |
