no white people are voting for obama... even if they pretend they are...
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 422604
That goes conversely for many black people who will vore for him because of his color.
Color shouldn't make a difference on WHO becomes President. Vote for the issues and what they represent. If Obama wasn't related to Bush or any other Illuminati / Free Mason fuktard, then I would consider voting for him.
In other words, RON PAUL '08!!! Once you've eliminated fear and darkness, there's only love and light!
From what I've seen on this board, there are a lot of people without guilt and proud to be racist. The amount of jew bashing and black bashing and general xenophobia says that racism is intrenched and systematic in the US.
Listen up.

i dont think whites feel guilty at all nor should they, all this hype is mostly media driven.besides its blacks that sell other blacks into slavery just like they still do today in Africa.dont blame whitey for buying cheap lsbor wtf do you think all the illegals are doing here?
Anonymous Coward User ID: 283256 United States 5/11/2008 8:21 PM
Why should it end? After all everyone sees how much the holocaust industry is bringing to Israel- they want the children of soldiers to continue paying as well as the USA to pay for not 'stopping' the camps soon enough. Of course Bush says 'yes we should pay' because he absolutely positively cannot say no to Israel. They have all the evidence of complicity in multiple crimes including 9/11 and this would quite literally bring down the entire government.
In addition the criminal Bureau of Indian Affairs has screwed the Indians out of BILLIONS in 'management/mineral/grazing fees since before 1900. This has been going on in court for over a decade with absolutely NO resolution or improvement in management. Indeed the CONgress voted to keep mineral/royalty fees at 1880's levels because to increase it would be 'economically unfeasable'. In other words read why should WE give up profits regardless of laws or morals? I would bet my life every single 'assignment' ended up with kickbacks or jobs for the 'politicians' and their families/employees.
Affirmative action was a good idea whose time has passed in general. When you are forced to hire incompetents over ability then the law is no longer working.

The world is as fucked up as it is today because it has been under the control of white men without consciences for thousands of years.
Anything would have been better.
The legacy; certain death for all on the planet from pollution and starvation unless there is divine intervention.
There is no white man or white influence in Haiti whatsoever, not in the government, nowhere. America and other nations send them billions of dollars and aid. Still no imprevement. Unless you can handle and confront this fact, then your opinion means nothing to me and those like me who can think.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 383362
An egotistical fool can think. You are a perfect example.
Haiti has fuck all to do with the way the establishment works on the planet, the one that has said we will use oil, we will dump tons of plastic and polution into the oceans, kill 90 percent of the fish (as has happened), we will control the wealth of the planet so that 80 percent gets 20 percent, war is good for business.
I pity all who are as unconscious of the truth as you.

For me, Obama has changed EVERYTHING! I was the wealthy white girl from the burbs who ALWAYS was on the side of the underdog, always championing the causes of the poor and underclass, always the first to notice the misrepresentation of the minorities, always voting with this in mind. Never would consider a candidate unless they favored desegregation, affirmative action and listened to the concerns of minorities, especially of the black population.
I tell you tonight, that is all over. I'm done looking at crowds on TV to make sure an audience has decent minority representation, done listening for the black callers opinions on CSPAN to really hear their concerns. Done marching with them on MLK day. Finished preaching to fellow healthcare workers about making certain we treat them equally.
In short, I congratulate them. They have reached a threshold and no longer need my help.
This campaign has disengaged a very important part of this population and we will not be going to the polls in November to vote for him, he certainly can do this without us, remember YES WE CAN!!! OK, go ahead.

No kidding. The white guilt thingy is a red herring to agitate other racists, or an attempt to intimidate other whites who seek or know the truth of the legacy of slavery and racism in the US.
btw my people were slave owners and in the south there was a hell of alot more than 3% whites that were slave owners, and all of them benefitted, whether poor or rich, one way or another.

At its peek, less than 3% of America owned slaves... at its PEEK. That being said, the VAST majority of Americans arrived after slavery was abolished in America... that means there is less than one percent odds that you are genetically related to slave owners. That being said, there was slavery all over the world since the start of time.. Black on black slavery in Africa did not end until news reached their shores that it was FIRST abolished in America. The word slave, comes from the SLAVIC region, a white region... so to think slavery is only a white/black issue is propoganda... targeted at weak minded whites who have little education and much white guilt
An affirmative action president like Obama is not the answer.
In my opinion, a Republican would make the best first Black president... like Condie Rice. It would split the current 95% Democtratic black vote in half, then would see some real healing and conversation, instead of this big racist democtratic liberal black segment of the party ushering Obama to power and scaring the shit out of the rest of the party
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 383362
Firstly, it's PEAK, not peek. ;)
Secondly, just because your ancestors immigrated after slavery was abolished does not necessarily mean they were not involved in the slave trade.
Thirdly, Black Americans cannot say with certainty that their African ancestors were innocent of dealing slaves - who do you think sold them to the white man?
Fifthly, North Africans quite often raided England, Ireland, France, Spain etc and took white slaves, sometimes taking every inhabitant of a village.
There are many things that might engender collective guilt in a people, but slavery isn't one of them because every race has been involved in it sometime in their history.

Racism is one of those polarizing issues tptb love to use to keep everyone bickering and their attention focussed away from how badly the establishment is fucking them over.
Younger people seem to be getting over it, I think.
An old guy at work ticked me off with one of his comments to the black laborer on our crew. The laborer is a standup guy, hard worker, but wears dreadlocks which the old asshole seems to find offensive. So he calls him "Bob Marley".(to his face)
Racist? Maybe. Insensitive? Definitely. We all might just want to take a step back and think before we talk.

In my opinion, it's not about slavery, it's about blacks feeling inferior because quite frankly, they really might be.
Talk to a black person in your normal white, intelligent way of speaking and see what happens. Don't talk black or conform to that ghetto speak that they do. Force the black to conform to you. Most likely, he will not conform and instead get angry at you for speaking to him intelligently. He's jealous that he's unable to reach your level of intelligence. That's been my experience with negroes anyway. I tried to understand why blacks hated me and I finally realized it was because they are stupid and they know that I'm much smarter than they are.

Racism exists because it is inherent in our genes. It is a natural self preservation instinct to fear that which is different.
Back to Africa with them, I agree. Tension mounts with every pinching enforcement of affirmative action for blacks which equals negation of whites.
The holocaust industry is feuling a smoldering resentment that will result in a backlash for the jews that will make their imaginary holocaust look like a fight between 6 year olds.

If you didn't feel guilty about all the evil you did back when, why would anybody expect you to feel guilty now?
People keep the slvery and jim crow stuff on blast as a defense mechanism, just like Jews are always harping about the holocaust.
That's because everybody knows ya don't/can't feel guilty.

As long as you and your family are not from the South then there should be no guilt. If you are from the South, then by association you should give yourself as a slave to a black family. Do not breed or allow yourself to be bred. Server one life time as a slave and your family will be forgiven.
other wise get ready for race war 2008-09

Like I said My people were slave owners, and the ones that couldnt afford to own slaves worked for their richer relatives who could.
I dont feel guilty for what they did, never have and never will. However, I do think that the system of slavery, and its legacy of institutionalized racism, needs to be faced head on. The legacy still exists and race hatred needs to be resolved. We really do need to say the TRUTH without guilt or condescension, we need to RECONCILE without fear and loathing.
Individual compensation is not what is required, However, a national commission perhaps like in Canada, South Africa or El Salvador and a diversion of resources is in order, away from war and to programs that help everyone, such as universal health care.
