If an brown drarf was 500 light years away from us when it was spotted in 2005, what distance do you think it is from us today in 2008? Please answer this for me. At that distance do you think it could have any effect on us? Do you think it could in any way be orbiting us? All these videos define Planet X differently and have it in different positions.....why do you think that is so? |

Well you dont have to be a scientist.... tell you what a 12 year old could work it out.... lets see 500 light years well thats hmmmm a planet moving at the speed of light... hmmmmm thats 500 hundred years..... time for a quick nap me thinks.... ok its closer lets say 50% closer... hmmmmm ok shorter nap of 250 years... ok ok benefit of the doubt 90%closer thats hmmmmmm 50 years for a nap...... and thats at the speed of light well Eienstine may have a good laugh in this thread cause if there is an impact with earth.... (and by the way we would at least have 8 minute warning if it was to the left or right or is it above or below the sun.... hmmm and there is another thread i feel) it would blow the fucking SOLAR SYSTEM out of the milky way...... get real ppl its not happening.... well at least for 500 years, Im sure the zetas will still be here though to warn the next generations. |

Don't want to bash on your uber intelligence, but how do you make that the figures are correct? Since you obviously do not believe it, why than are you doing math with a hypothetical numbers? And how in hell would you know how a celestial body reacts in space? I presume that with your unimaginable intelligence in every aspect of life, you also know that the current laws are quite flawed, so you know the correct laws? Do you know of the missions to outer solar system? Do you know what caused them to loose speed when they were out there? This was a rhetorical question, since even NASA can't explain why something like that happens. My point is, that don't be so secure and presumptious, since neither you nor NASA knows what the laws of the universe are. And that is a fact old buddy. |

I would say its still basicly 500 light years away. It would have to be at most a few light minutes away from us before it would have any effect at all. No it could not be in anyway orbiting us. There are probably several million closer stars to us than this one. They all define it differently because they are all made up, and prey on people with no basic grasp on astronomy. |
