Enough women are like that, to cause nearly all the guys the OP is talking about, to go chasing Russian or Asian brides. That's why there's so many 30ish women that are leftovers.

LOL! No it's not bollocks. As much as men are portrayed as dogs that can't keep it in their pants, I've heard at least two stories of women cheating for every one of men cheating. Women feel they justifiably reserve the right to keep "bad boys" on the side beacuse the "nice guy" they married doesn't adequately "tend to their needs." I've seen a lot of supposedly beautiful women on television that I find homely. But of course, television is a poor frame of reference for anything unless it's a documentary. If you're going to ask why one woman finds a guy attractive and her friend doesn't, then various factors such as personality matching, pheromones, peer and parental influences, and others things could be involved. And anyway, some (most?) people aren't as shallow and conceited as the article's title suggests they should be. |

It depends why the guy is living at home. If he is sponging off his parents and partying, then he's a loser.
If he is taking care of his parents, or had a downturn in luck, but is contributing to them in some way and trying to better himself, then I don't mind at all. Taking care of one's parents is an honorable thing.
I don't care about looks or money, just a kind, nuturing heart and spiritual awareness. |

Has it ever occurred to you that attraction can be very subjective? What's "ugly" to you might be attractive to another. I, for example, don't care so much for "pretty boys." As long as the guy is tall and in decent shape, his face doesn't have to be that gorgeous..in fact I prefer the more masculine, non-pretty faces on guys. And I'm only talking about the physical part. Personality, intelligence, confidence, sense of humork, and how he acts with me are also a part of attraction. So...it's complex. |

Exactly, I'm more attracted to shorter guys around 5'7 - 5'10 because i'm only 5'4. I dated a tall guy once and i felt like a dwarf. I mean he could pick me up and toss me across the room. Scared the hell outta me lol.
I also notice when you start dating a guy they start really taking better care of themselves. They smell good all the time and dress nice. I think women do that too. Love will make you all happy and nice and funny and look so much better. That's probably why when you are with someone they look better over time.
Oh, and I didn't dump the guy cuz he lived at home. We lived too far from each other. |

there is no such thing as ugly. a guy a little stocky and short who is true and trying to get along is so amazingling beautiful. he may not have a lot of money or a six pack of abs but if he is true in his heart and soul and spirit he is so amazingly beautiful in a way that the carnally rich six packed beautiful according to societal standards guy isn't and can not be in eyes belonging to God love.
