I'm so pissed right now!!!
Remember I told you all a gun saved my daughter's life, via man trying to break in, was warned of being shot, responded with an adament 'F**k YOU!" and broke the window? Well, he ended up shot! Hospitalized for a few weeks, then had his day in court. THis man had auto theft, drug possesssion, B&E, and whole list of other offenses against him...and you know what???
The mother EFFING judge sentences him to 3 years probation and some drug rehab. NO JAIL TIME WHATSOEVER!
Now here's the kicker...because it's our eff'd up judicial system, court records and private info is now PUBLIC knowledge...so the S.O.B. now has the phone number...and has been calling EVERYDAY leaving harrassing, borderline threatening messages on the answering machine...simulating gun fire and so forth!
I'm scared to death this man will try something now! I'm scared to death to let my daughter go over there now! What if this guy decides to hide in the bushes and shoot them as they come home, or me for that matter, dropping off my daughter!
GOD I hate this effin world sometimes!!!!!!
SO help me god if I ever cross paths with that man, I WILL END IT!

I feel for you. What every happened to protecting people? And that includes protection from harassment. I'm angry for you.
This just goes to show - if you are going to shoot an intruder - make sure you kill them. And if you are going to plant a gun on him. Make sure you put his finger prints on the bullets inside the gun..
My tiny niece shot an intruder in her home. He laughted at her - right before she shot him in the head and killed him. |

I'd get them out of there and out of there as soon as you could. Have them stay with you, a friend or whatever till they can find a new place, but by any means get them out of that house now, before something bad does happen.

i feel your pain. my moms xhusband, is a con artist. in the last few years, he has stolen several cars, conned money from innocent people (thousands at a time), hes a crack head, he got put on probation, failed his first drug test and fled the state - i could keep writing all day about what he has done.
anyway they caught him in SC, with the help of my mom calling him in, brought him all the way back to michigan with 4 or 5 felony charges, and they gave him about 3 months in jail!!! he gets out in june.
it sucks to always have the constant worry to know hes out there somewhere, and is he going to try to do something to us? my mom has a kid with him, and we cant even let her out of our site for fear he will pick her up and take off with her.
this is someone who has had about 10 felonies for things over the last 10 years.... and he basically just walks.
THIS JUDICIAL SYSTEM IS SO SCREWED. good luck with your situation. be sure to get a restraining order, so if you do see him around, you can have him arrested right away.

Call the police, tersely explain the case history and report the harassing phone calls right away. Keep the messages he leave and start logging everything that happens which you feel is connected to this scum. The police will set up a trace and let the cops hook him up again. If there is an unfortunate "next time", train your daughter to empty the magazine into his chest.

THe ONLY reason that man is still alive now is because it was Bird Shots in the shotgun and it wasnt' a direct hit in the neck even though the man (as far as I know) is unable to talk right now!

I have a little .22 mag pistol (belly gun) I may just let my daughter have whenever she goes over there. She knows how to use it and when!
She's a hell of a shot too! She won't make the mistake of NOT finishing the job!
She's STILL screwed up from that incident...can't sleep in my home without all the lights on and such.

It easy for someone who has the Sheriffs department at their disposal to ignore the potential threat of some dirtbag.

MY FUCKING ASS. His house has an 8'foot fense around the backyard, not the house he attempted to get in, that one is only a 3 foot fense!

Get everyone in your family to carry a pistol. If you see this guy again shoot him on sight, make sure it is a kill shot. When you go to court for his death claim that you legitimately felt a significant threat from this guy as you have seen him before and he tried to commit a crime against you. Make sure to save the messages he is leaving on your voicemail to bring to court with you proving that he was stalking and harassing your family.
