SR,

I have ruminated about this over the last 24 or so hours since I read your post. Please find a victim-frienly atty, and contact a local victim advocate, if one is available. What is happening to you really bothers me because you are a victim, especially your daughter.

The key is getting CREDIBLE advocates and lawyers on your side (including the DA; I know, but you have to for your safety), and DO NOT aggravate the situation. But also BE HYPER-VIGILANT in your DAILY routines - alter your times and routes, etc. He's probably watching you. Web savvy mama, make the cams work for you! Run a monthly loop, not daily or weekly, and review it daily if not hourly. Paranoid, maybe; safety is more important.

BUILD THE CASE to put him in jail. If you would tell me your state, I can look into the stalking laws. Third party stalking has been criminal in my state for about a decade, thanks to my work on the issue.

Keep a hand written and computer log, the computer will track your thoughs/experiences with a stamp, but supplement it with a hand-written journal because there are items that you will not necessarily want to post/blog. Document everything via phone, camera, etc. but make sure that the chain of evidence is followed or it will not be admitted.

See if there is a victim advocate, but they are often dodgy (e.g. a personal axe to grind instead of helping YOUR situation).

Write a letter to the judge detailing the events. It IS NOT your responsibility to prove who it is, a threat is a threat. Record everything and send it to everyone (e.g. sisters, friends, lovers). In the event that you are not able to stop him, there is documentation. And if you are able to stop him, again, in the same or similar manner you will have justification.

THe ONLY reason that man is still alive now is because it was Bird Shots in the shotgun and it wasnt' a direct hit in the neck even though the man (as far as I know) is unable to talk right now!

If he's unable to talk, how is he calling and leaving threatening messages?

He's got other people saying shit, mocking my daughter's father, simpulating gun fire in the background.
